Albert Morey and wife
Do you perhaps still have the file for the stone photo that you added to Albert Morey # 19526852. If so would you please add it to his wife's memorial that I just created. #127156915

Thank you,

RE: Little Grove Cemetery
I to try to do my best to help others and if someone is new to genealogy they don't notice how the county lines run. I didn't either when I fist started and didn't realize that many cities & towns are in more than one county.
Thank you for what you do as it is so helpful to many others.

Letting you know this cemetery is actually in Jefferson County's side of Walnut Hill, IL. The north side of Walnut Hill Rd. is in Marion County, and the south side of Walnut Hill Rd is in Jefferson County, IL (that's the dividing line between the two counties). Someone very rudley pointed this out to me several years ago and now I see others thought it was in Marion County, also. If you go to Little Grove Cemetery Jefferson County, IL you will find many more burials listed there in case your are searching for anyone else. Enjoy your searching.

Hi Trish, I wondered if you would mind uploading the photo you took for Anna's husband, Carl August Rauckman (73777435), to Anna's memorial which I just created (125725566). I didn't see a memorial for her so hopefully I'm not duplicating. Thank you very much - Gale

Hi Trish, thank you for the explanation on the photo "reading". I appreciate your efforts to tell me what they say. These old markers are very difficult to read, so always makes the curiousity greater! Thank you, Vicki

I am wondering if you would permit me to use the photo of the Bryant's headstone on my tree. I would give you full credit as photographer and also reference the Find A Grave memorial.

Thanks so much for your kind consideration!

Thank you very much for the photo of Fannie Farting marker. Another very old marker and I can't make out what it says either, do you know? Thank you Trish for taking your time to do these for me. You are much appreciated!

Hi Trish, thank you so very much for the photos of Clarence and Mary and Amelia Farthing. I sincerely appreciate you taking your time and effort to do these for me. On Amelia's photos, do you know what it says on the large marker? I cannot make it out. 74518069

Thank you again, Vicki

RE: Elizabeth Hawkins Waugh
Thanks Trish,
It is so sad that people distroy headstones. Then there is the problem of old cemeteries with no one that kept records of the burials.
Thanks again for your help, it has been deeply appreciated. Eva

RE: James Marsh, Co. C, 86th Illinois
Trish, You probably don't realize what it means, what you are doing. When I started searching for the 992 men who served in the 86th Illinois, I knew I would never find them all. Frankly, I am surprised I have found the now 898 that I have. In my travels, I drug my family through countless cemeteries or dropped them off at malls so they could shop while I searched for their graves. Through the years, I photographed about 500 of their graves. But, I always knew there were graves here and there that I would never get to see in person and, frankly, had no hope of finding someone to photograph all of the ones that I would never see. Then about four years ago, someone told me about Find A Grave and it's wonderful Conrtributors, LIKE YOU!!! In the last four years, I have lived to see pictures of hundreds of tombstones that I knew I would NEVER even see a picture. What you are doing is a GREAT service to a lot of people and will be GREATLY APPRECIATED by many long after we are gone. Thanks for what you are doing for Find A Grave!! It is GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Sincerely, Baxter

Thank you so much for taking the time to photo the headstones for the Thurston family. Belldora was my 1st cousin 3x removed and her children, Oren and Hazel, were my 2nd cousins 2x removed. It is so sad that they lost two children at the same time.
