Hi, Miriam -- So here we are, both in California. I am in San Francisco. San Berdoo is a favorite of mine, actually.
I do not know where Melissa is living, or even if she is still going by the last name of "Herod." I've wanted to find her for a long time. With both her parents gone, and no siblings, I would like for her to have a cousin (me) at least. Do you know where she was last living, and if she was still "Herod"? Perhaps I can find her.

Hi - I am the granddaughter of Dorothy Tabor and the niece of Mildred Herod. Grandmother Tabor had two children -- Leon Edward Tabor and Mildred Tabor Herod.
I will get the DOB/DOD for Leon Edward Tabor and send it to you.
Mildred and Leon's father's name was "Leo Edward Tabor"; and he was divorced from Dorothy Tabor.
Leon Edward Tabor had two children -- me Cydney Lynn Tabor Batchelor and Timothy L. Tabor.
I have two children -- Brooke Batchelor Whistler and Tracy Batchelor Butler.

My grandmothers maiden name was Stueve. I see you have a virtual cemetery for Stueve's, similar to mine. I started photographing the entire lot and marking the people in the lot for that very reason...if the person requesting the photo recognizes a name, the claimed photo could be linked to other family members. I try really hard not to duplicate. The reason I missed yours is because you have him in the wrong cemetery. The same thing may have happened to you as to me. I had only been working on the old cemetery and one morning when I logged on the two cemeteries had been merged. It went on that way for several weeks and then one morning they were seperated except all the ones I had worked on were still in Memorial. I had to move about 1700 people from Memorial back to the od cemetery. Some people think they should be merged, but since they are about 2 miles apart I think they should be seperate! How could people find their relatives?? I know there are still memorials in Memorial Cemetery that should be in the old one.
