child of L. J. Canright
One line of my family has Elnora Baker marrying Eugene Canright (b. abt 1851 in Orleans Co., NY) in Orange, Ionia, MI, 1873. He dies in 1878, LeRoy, Calhoun, MI. Parents were listed as L. J. Canright and Pheobe Canright.

Eugene Canright and Elnora Baker appear to have had a daughter, Lillie, before his death. You can find her living with her mother and stepfather (Mortimer Baker), in the 1880 census, Pierson, Montcalm, MI.

Lillie Canright marries Charles Robbins, but list her father as Wm Canright. Perhaps a middle name?

RE: Calvary Cemetery
That's okay. My little granddaughter helped me. It's actually a nice cemetery, as cemeteries go. Almost like a large park, and the walk did me good.

RE: Thank you
The History of Branch County Books may still be available from the Branch County historical Society... Last I knew they were housed in the basement of the Farmer's Mutual Insurance Agency in Coldwater... I don't have the number, right off, but you may be able to look it up and they might be able to help you out... Good luck! (And your are welcome)

RE: Canright grave photos
Neither of the graves appeared to have had markers, but some of the oldest markers here were made of concrete and have crumbled over the years. Sadly, others were vandalized at different times, but I can't be sure that either of those occurred. Where stones have been knocked over, the cemetery has worked very hard to keep them flat in the ground almost as if they were placed that way. Most of those have a majority of the stone still showing even if grass grows over the edges.

RE: Photo for Bernhard & Martha Woltman
Glad to help. I actually live a good way from Marlin myself. I saw that there are abt 20 requests so I decided to run over and take the 20 photos. I had no idea how HUGE that cemetery was. Wow! My little granddaughter and I walked for hours, and only ended up with 3 of thoe 20. That place is massive! Anyway, I am glad to have found yours for you.

Take care,
MJ

RE: Pvt Cyril M Canright #11701701
One source is the 1930 census as shown. The other I no longer remember, but was probably from meeting house notes. Since find-a-grave is a graves registry site and not a genealogical site , I don't quote extensive sources, it has no bearing on the location of the grave.

GEDCOM
These are files which are created using a good Genealogy program which allows a person to send to another person either by email or by a CD which contain the information on what ever line one or the other person is interested in and can be shared and added to the other person program without too many changes. If you are using any good genealogy program this is an easy way without having to type everything one at a time. There are at least 4 free programs which can be downloaded off the internet if you aren't using one now which will information can be exchanged (GEDCOM) If you have a program now you may want to look up at the top of the page on your program and click on help. From there you can look and find information contained there that will help you use your program and all its extras.

Well I believe you were more help to me than I was for you. Sure helped me get a few things straightened out. I don't like scrambled trees. And each time I work on another section of my trees I seem to find more family I have neglected for way too long.

Bessie Elvira Hall Katz Walsworth
Please disregard the first message as it seems you have been a great help to me as I see where I have made a grave mistake. Bessie Elvira Hall was born 8 July 1883 Burlington, Calhoun, Michigan ad died 23 June 1961 in Union City Township, Branch Michigan. She married Byron Oris Walsworth 14 Nov 1928 in Union Township, Branch Michigan. He was born 13 Jan 1885 in Union Township, Branch, Michigan and died 26 Feb 1953 Union City Township, Branch, Michigan. I only have her parents Orley Hall born 1849 in Burlington, Calhoun, Michigan and died 1925. Married 22 Feb 1872 in Hillsdale, Hillsdale, Michigan to;
Evaline "Eva" Morley born 1854 in Michigan and died 1933. For Bessie I have she had 5 children by Christopher Lewis Katz born in Michigan and died 1918 of Michigan. They were married 29 Oct 1901 in Marshall, Calhoun, Michigan. Again I thank you for helping me find a grave error which I made while adding this information from the Walworth book onto my genealogy program.

I don't have very much on this person except she married Clyde Lester Walsworth born 2 March 1874 i Union Township, Branch, Michigan and died 11 Jan 1929 in Union Township, Branch, Michigan. When they married I do not know. He was married 3 times, the first to Minnie Edith Cherdavoine in 1895 and Pearl ___ 26 Nov 1927, they were divorced. but when Bessie and Clyde were married I have not record so far, nor did I have any data on her nor her parent, ancestor etc. I hope this has been of some help. As to the Walsworth line I received most of what I had to start with from the Walworth-Walsworth book
