RE: Anna Maria Wirt Schaeffer Rity
Indeed it is. I found ancestry.com and love the instant sourcing. Click, Click, Click. No more months and months of waiting in hopes of a response to a request from a courthouse or from a "cold" letter sent in hopes someone knows something about one's family member. And then there is this Find A Grave. Wonderful site. Great opportunities for the memorial creator and/or the "finder". Seems like I have a responsibility to make sure a person, family member or not, is listed on Find A Grave when I come across a death record or an older cemetery listing. I have also been trying to link family members to parents on Find A Grave when they are listed but not linked. Now that Find A Grave has added the auto edit process for linking, it is so much easier to link them. Take care, Suzzette

Anna Maria Wirt Schaeffer Rity
Hi Ann, it's been way too long since we corresponded. I just found the memorial you created for our ancestress Anna Maria Wirt Schaeffer Rity. Yeah! I'm doing the genealogy happy dance, can you see me? Thank you for listing her and for the nice informative write-up. I am no longer in Texas, but live in Boone, NC now. It is always a pleasure to "run across" your name and your work. I can always trust your research. I still have not found what happened to Solomon Grett / Greth, etc and where he may have gone. Suzzette

RE: Mary M Smith Lininger
Ann,

Go to the memorial. Click the picture you want to work with (it will open the photos page). Be sure the correct picture is chosen and click the "Delete Selected Photo" link. Note: You cannot delete photos others have posted.

Alternate: Go to the memorial. Click the Photos tab at the upper left (the photos page will open). Click the picture you want to delete and click the "Delete Selected Photo" link.

Once deleted, go back to the memorial and upload the picture again and, in this case, choose "Person" under "Type of photo".

Hope this gets you through it. I'm always glad to help. If you need anything else, let me know.

Mary M Smith Lininger
Ann,

I wanted you to know that I added a tombstone picture for the Mary M (Smith) Lininger memorial - 62687896 - at the Clear Creek Cemetery.

Did you realize that when you you added her picture to the memorial that you added it as a "Grave" photo rather than a "Person" photo? I've made that mistake a couple of times, too. Thought you would want to know.
