RE: John Baptist Jost

I found the census record for the family in Ohio with daughter Fredericka, and also found the Philly church records. I guess the reason why I am not entirely comfortable linking her is because in the course of trying to track the families down, I found a number of woman name Fredericka Mack, so the name was not uncommon. Also, the migration pattern does not feel right. It sounds like John immigrated, landed at Philly and stayed there for awhile. But why would a Crawford county farm girl, whose immigrant family had established themselves in Ohio, suddenly show up in Philly? It just seems more likely to me that John's wife was someone more recently off the boat, who landed at Philly and was still residing there. That she was the girl from Crawford county is certainly not impossible, but I am just not comfortable with it at this point.

Fredericka Mack Jost

You sent me an auto edit to link Fredericka to Adam and Christina Mack as her parents. Do you have any proof? Fredericka and her husband were Catholic, but I see that Adam and his family were not. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

RE: Question n Andrew Montague
Hello Susan:

Am sending what I have, From what I found Andrew died in about 1918. From the obituary of Fannie's 1938. In 1910 Federal census she is listed as widow. The cemetery records has him purchasing the cemetery lot in 1903 when his oldest daughter passed way. I found the cemetery lots and burial markers for Fannie and Annie. Their were no marker for Andrew? But there are empty lots there.

I talked to Andrew's grandson "James H. Montague" and he has not idea where his grandparents were buried. He may be buried else were?

Andrew's Notes file:

May had a twin that died early. 1851 Census, Westminster Twp; Middlesex Co; Ontario, Canada; Page 7 of 11, has a Deliah with the same birth year? May have died young.

Borned in Canada and after he was married in 1877, they moved and settled on a farm in Brant Twp; Saginaw Co; MI. Then moving to Owosso, Owosso Twp; Shiawassee Co; in about 1896. He purchased Cemetery lots in the Oak Hill Cemetery in 1903 and he died in 1918. There is no marker of him in that Cemetery.

Hello Susan:
Memorial: 134439084

Thanks to letting me know about the double memorial.
I checked it out and decided that the easy way to correct it was to delete the memorial that I created.

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand that. I have never been able to find a grave for her. I do know after she & the baby died, her family moved back to Waukon, Allamakee, Iowa. Her husband's headstone is alone in Oakland Cemetery.

RE: Thankyou
I added several Trimner grave photos to the Reed City cemetery. I don't know if/how they may be related. I also found death certificates for some and found that the spelling of Trimner was sometimes spelled Trimmer or Truener (poor penmanship) that it was difficult to find them.
Hope they are helpful.

You're very welcome, Susan. I looked for Robert as well, but didn't find a marker. (It's possible it's there but overgrown. Now that spring is finally here, the cemetery will no doubt be doing some trimming and tidying.)

RE: Thankyou!
Susan, you are welcome...Happy that I could find the grave for you! The road in the graveyard was washed out from the snow melting. We were able to walk in. I took another photo of the headstone and the view from that point. Was not sure that Find A Grave would allow it.

Hello Susan... I just fulfilled your photo request for Benjamin Singerline, and noticed that you asked to be informed about any other Singerline burials at this cemetery. Benjamin was buried with his wife, Lillian, and his sons, Andrew & Bernard. Though, Benjamin's and Lillian's names were never inscribed on the marker. Other Singerline burials at this cemetery are: Rita Singerline (d. 1997), SB Singerline (d. 1961), and three infants who died in 1957 & 1959. If you are interested in any of those burials, let me know and I will be happy to try to photograph those markers as well. Have a good weekend! Michael
