Sanford twins
Would you please remove Denzle Washington Messer from Rose & Viola Sanford's memorial since Mrs. Mavis has said he is NOT the father of those children.

Request
I am not going to claim the request for Ms Mavis since she is still with us. Her husband, John Houston Elders memorial has a picture of their marker.

RE: Eunice Sanford
OK -- 1940 census (done 11April) lists Eunice living with her parents as Eunice Cromer age 16 widowed. Also, lists Mavis age 2 last name Sanford as a daughter of Tony & Dessie not a granddaughter.

RE: Eunice Sanford
Wait a minute ... Ms. Mavis is still living last account I had. I went to school with her daughter Dianne. Surely they will know.

RE: Eunice Sanford
My great grandmother died in 2003 so I can't ask her, but there is one half sister still living. I will question her.

RE: Eunice Sanford
OK - one more question?? My great uncle Denzle Messer is linked to the twins as their father. Do you know something that I don't or was that an oops on the memorial #?

RE: Eunice Sanford
That makes sense. Did both the babies die then also? I thought one of the memorials said 1949. I did not look at the actual stones tho just the memorial pages.

If the stone is correct, she was only 14 when she died. Is that stone wrong maybe??

RE: Cranes at Unity
OHHHHH NO!! You didn't. That is fine, they are your direct line. That is not an issue at all. It is a fairly big cemetery especially once you start trying to get them all. It is just taking longer than I thought. There are several unmarked graves and the folks in charge of the cemetery do not have any info on those, soooo long story short. I got caught up chasing answers I will probably never find and didn't upload pictures.
By the way....do you happen to know why Eunice is buried by her maiden name? (Mavis Cromer Elders mother)

I saw you added pictures to Leno & Sue and Claude & Emma so I did not. I did add one for Thomas & Georgia.

#86388669 AL HARRIS BRUMBELOW
Regina, I am trying to do some research on the Brumbelow family. This person may be the son of Archibald M. and Mary(Lankford) Brumbelow. Do you remember if the stone is close to this family. The son's name was Lundy Harris Brumbelow, and dad's name started with an A. I guess with no dates it may only be a guess. Thanks for all you do for find a grave.

RE: Robert Bean Photo Request
Unfortunately, my Robert Bean and your Robert Bean are not one in the same and the Robert Bean in which you posted a comment about the possibility of him being your 4x grt grandfather would not be correct. I did find Robert Bean Sr. memorial 6300378 and 24356708 in which perhaps you already found his as there are 2 memorials on here for him. I did find exact birth dates and death dates as well for Robert Sr, Martha, Robert Jr, and Sarah if you do not have them. I was hoping that we were kin, as it is amazing making that connection. If I come across your Robert Bean in my Bean research, I will definately let you know.

RE: Robert Bean Photo Request
You have me intrigued. I have a Robert Bean in my tree also the son of James but I have a marriage to Sarah Ann Starkey. They married May 3, 1821 and I have 8 children listed but not a Martha. The years for your Robert Bean are close to my Robert Bean (yours 1794-1868, mine 1792-1869). According to the census records Sarah died previously to 1850 as she is not listed on the 1850 census. Perhaps Robert married twice and our Robert Beans are the same person. I have extensive information on the Bean's from Hardy County and would be very interested in learning more about your side.
