Good afternoon Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request. Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace
From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.
Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at just Forest Home that had the grave location information provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have victoriously concluded 900 photo missions with 150 triumphs already in 2014.

|Lori Lyon||Alice Pedigo photo request|
My husband and I are planning to drive to Geary on the 16th of February to take pictures of the Lyon family plot. I wouldn't mind taking a picture of Alice's headstone.
Do you know about where she is buried at the cemetery?
Claimed photo jobs expire in 14 days. So I'll wait to claim the job within the allotted timeframe. Just trying to plan ahead!

Well, I done did it as you requested and got pics for your Cowan's. It is not easy getting good pics in the winter. Any time of year is better than winter! You about freeze your fingers off trying to get all the dirt and moss scrubbed off the stones so you can see what they say on them and the lighting is bad in the winter. Anyway, I tried.
Do I sound like a big cry baby or what?! :-]

|Ace||Reminder for Franklin & Mary Holwick|
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.
Thank you! Ace

Thank you so much for the transfers! I know that was a lot of work! I think I have all the listings in the correct cemetery now. Now I can start adding the names of those who aren't on Findagrave yet.

Hi! I am in the process of going through an exhaustive study of these cemeteries done by the Winnebagoland Genealogical Society. I'm seeing that a large number of the Sunnyview memorials you manage were put in the wrong cemetery and actually belong in the State Hospital Cemetery.
I have additional information to add to many of these memorials. If you would prefer to simply transfer your Sunnyview memorials to me, I would be happy to make sure they are all in the right cemetery. Let me know. Thanks.

|Shawna Neff||Teachman in Nondaga Cemetery|
I fulfilled your requests for Andrew and Jennie Teachman. This is the remainder of the information from the Burial Records:
Andrew W. Teachman born Nelson, PA; last residence Silver Creek, NY; Age at death 73 years 2 months 21 days; married; Died Feb 8, 1948 from Cerebral Thrombosis; Interred Feb 10, 1948.
Jennis S. Teachman born E. Palmyra, NY; last residence Port Jarvis, NY; age at death 79 years and 24 days; widowed; died Apr 25, 1959 from coronary occlusion; interred Apr 27, 1959; E. Austin Seay (that's what it looked like in the book) funeral home in Port Jarvis, NY.
Next to their headstones were two other Teachman's: Andrew C. Teachman 1901-1982 and Kathryn M. Teachman 1898-1929. I took photos but there is no memorial for them. If they are ancestors of yours I'd be happy to fulfill the photo request when you place the memorial and look up any information in the burial record on them.

Hi, I just uploaded photos for Frances Laing and her husband, Harlow, who is buried with a subsequent wife, Leela, with whom he shares a stone. The part of the stone that is Harlow's is in shadow, but I included a closeup. I may get another shot of the stone on a more overcast day in the future. Until then, I hope this shot will suffice.

|Ed Perkins||Nellie May Frogge Agee|
I have checked all of my sources and all of the cemetery records and can find no record of Nellie May Frogge Agee. Therefore we must conclude she is not buried in Ocean View Cemetery.
I did find her husband, Robert Agee buried 8 Dec 1944 and a Philip Agee buried 15 Jul 1937. Both names are on one stone but I have no idea who Philip Agee is. It is interesting Robert Agee was born 1888 and Philip Agee born 1886, perhaps they are brothers?

|Ed Perkins||Ocean View Cemetery - Agee|
I found the stone for Robert Agee included on the same stone with Philip Agee. Don't know the relationship but they could be brothers. I have uploaded the photo and attached it to Robert.
So far I have been unable to find a stone for Nellie May Frogge, spouse of Robert. When the weather improves I'll give it another try.

|Steve S.||minerva mayes 1852-1876|
i went to the cementry and spoke with an individual that shared in the search of the cemetery records. MINERVA MAYES is not in cemetery records on file at the cemetery. could possibly be buried here but without a headstone. she stated that records were not kept by the cemetery back then. she believed these were kept by the church or undertaker. the blue springs hisroical society did come to this cemetery and record all headstones. these were printed in a book that she also researched with still no match to the name. if you have any other information that might help in the research i would be glad to help as i can. - Steve
