RE: Nettie Seavey Trumble
Hi Christine! I have Nettie being the daughter of Alexander Griswold (1827-1880) and Henrietta J. Libby (1846-1923). Alexander and Henrietta married in 1862 in Bridgton. Her second husband was Edward G. Alley, whom she married in 1882 in Chatham, NH. In our family she was always referred to as Grammy Alley, and after Nettie died, she basically raised the Seavey children. Hope this helps. You can always email me at pgsoap@gmail.com. Nice to hear from you!

Thanks, and you are welcome.

I have just asked that the transcription fields be updated and the death date and first name spelling for Hephzibah be adjusted.

unknown
Thanks so much for your hard work. Could I ask you a favor? When you build a memorial, could you leave the maiden name blank, instead of Unknown. There are those of us who want to leave flowers for the truly unknown, veterans, infants and those long ago forgotten. When we search Unknown, the memorials appear that do have names. Thanks so much, we appreciate it.

Ammi Trumbull
Hi,
I also added photos for Sabra, Ammi who died in 1766, David and Sarah, wife of David. The stones were all in a row so thought you might like them. Many stones in this cemetery were in very bad shape and unreadable. Could not find one for James but it may be that I could not read it. Beverly Norton

You are welcome. I had to ask Camp staff where the cemetery was. They were very helpful. I would never have found it on my own. They have been maintaining it as best they can. --Lyn

The Essex cemetery is pretty beat up. I'll have a look.

Ebeneezer Woodbury - Beverly
I see a marriage record for him under the spelling of Woodbery: "Ebinezor, and Hanah Dodge, May 15, 1690." I see no death record for him and he does not appear on the list of names for that cemetery (check the photos near the end for the cemetery on Find A Grave - there is a list of names). I'll pop down there and have a look, but it doesn't look good. Do you have any additional information that might help track him down?

Sorry about the inscription photo - because it's a half circle it's hard to get both sides in at the same time. I have another photo of the right side that shows the dates clearer, if you need/want it.

Merrylyn Sawyer
Nathaniel and Phebe
I have not forgotten you but I have had no luck finding Nathaniel and Phebe. When you mention the history of Wayne were you referring to the old, original history or the newer edition? I did not find any genealogy notes for any Billingtons in the old Wayne history, though Phebe Doty Billington is mentioned as always being healthy and never needing a doctor right up to the day she died. There is no index so I was sort of skimming the pages and I did not notice any mention of their burial place. The town claims that the only Billingtons in the Evergreen Cemetery are Seth and Mary. And that is all I could find walking the cemetary. I am trying to get an answer from the town on where Nathaniel and Phebe are buried, if in Wayne.

Blanche Taylor
Hi Christine,
I have added Blanche, her husband James and their daughter Iola who live only a few months. I do not know if she is the Beatrice you mention on Blanche's memorial. If you would like James and Iola's memorials transferred to you just let me know.
Sincerely,
Peter

Thank you. Find-a-Grave, doesn't appear to have a listing for Old Smith Cemetery in Cumberland ME. Could it also go by a different name?

Hi Christine,
You are very welcome!! I only discovered this site a couple days ago. It may take a few trips, but I am attempting to work my way through all the requests at Norway Pine Grove Cemetery. I inadvertently deleted the front photo of the G. Oscar & Tina Bennett stone. Will take that again & post w/ both.

Mary L. McCormack-Brown
Hi Christine
She's related to my daughter's husband, Jeff Brown. However, she's just too far down the line for me to want her cemetery record. I have a habit of getting sidetracked on siblings and ending up with more branches of my tree. I always have the tab for find a grave opened next to my tab for Ancestry.com. I just happened to find the info I gave you while I was doing a search in the census records. Thank you for adding this grave to find a grave as it helped me to find more info, and I thank you for working so hard to add the cemetery records.
