Sherry, yes, please do. Feel free to add anything you have about her or her life, including death certf. It's heart-warming giving these souls an existence, to be remembered, especially when they weren't given proper burials or markers. Families NEED to find them again. Thank you so much for writing. I also see that you and I have quite a few family surnames in common on your memorials. Could be we're related. Chiquita (Heckler) Baker from French Lick.

|Earl C. Padgett ||RE: Jesse Miles Padgett (1883-1933)|
I finally found Jesse Padgett (Padget) in the Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana 1910 Census as a widower living with the parents (the Pettigrews) of his dead wife and his daughter (b. 1908) Hazel Padgett.
He is 27 years old.
He might have registered for the draft in 1916 as a 35 (sic) year old year old (b. 1881 sic) to avoid the draft. I think the 1883 birth date is correct.
Just guessing, but the 1910 census, leads me to believe I'm "in the ballpark".

Thank you for taking the time, on my behalf, to photograph this headstone. I do appreciate it.
May I please use the photo on my Ancestry.com tree and in my personal files? I will happily credit you.

Sherry, Thanks for the correction for Etta. I've been receiving quite a bit of incorrect info through edit requests and this was another example.
Hope you're doing o.k.

Interesting. Someone had looked up a Robert Allen, the half-brother of my maternal grandfather, and yours and his have the exact same birth and death dates. Might be a coincidence though, but I'll have to look at it again.

Hi, Sherry, I was just curious where you got the information about Robert Allen from. From what I was given, his parents are actually James Howard Allen and Nellie M. Steele Allen. James Allen is my maternal grandfather's father and Robert Allen was the name of my grandpa's half-brother. I am pretty sure the one you have is the same Robert Allen as James' first son from his marriage with Nellie.

Hey Sherry. Yes, I'm from Hancock Co. and I haven't been to Texas recently:) Must be an error or something. Are you sure I did it? The only photo request I completed for you this week was for Sudie Jackson in Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro. I did add Sudie's husband, Joseph also, which wasn't a request. I'm not familiar with "Neal". Let me know his findagrave # and I'll investigate. Let me know if I need to change or delete anything. Gary

I found this grave yesterday and I posted it on her memorial page. I am 99% sure it is the correct one but it is kind of hard to read but the born on year is the same but I noticed they spelled her name with an a instead of an e. The died on date has sunk in the ground so I couldn't see it.
If you feel it is wrong, please let me know
