 | RE: William Sprinstead Photo Hi Brenda: You are so welcome. I had never been in this section of the cemetery and found it marked very differently than the others. I thought I would never find the grave, but finally after circling the area twice I figured out the numbering system. I don't go into the office after they were so rude to me in the summer of 2010. That's when I started photographing sections of this cemetery, but with 80,000 graves, it could take me the rest of my life to finish it. After the holidays I might try to call the individual you spoke with and see if he will look up a few names for me. I feel bad for requestors in this cemetery, since Find A Grave volunteers are usually unable to help without the location being provided. ChrisAdded by Macso on Dec 14, 2011 11:05 PM | |

 | RE: Memorial Park They are always nice to relatives. They cooperated with me for about 3 weeks. When I kept coming back asking for additional names, they told me that since I was not a relative that I would be charged $50 for each search. That's how they discourage the Find A Grave volunteers. In their defense, this is a huge cemetery (80,000+ graves)with manual records and they just don't want to spend the time looking up info for non relatives. I guess they don't understand that we are trying to help relatives. I was at the cemetery yesterday and will be going back in about a week. ChrisAdded by Macso on Dec 07, 2011 5:57 PM | |

 | Westminster Cemetery Hi: I'm writing to let you know how hard it is for Findagrave volunteers to obtain information from this cemetery. Occasionally, they cooperate with us, but then, stop and chase us away with threats of fees for non-relatives requesting information. If you are able to call and get plot information for your loved one, there are numerous volunteers who will be able to fulfill your request. The cemetery has always cooperated when a relative calls for information. If you wish to call and then post plot information, the number for the cemetery is: 714-893-2421. | Juanita Springstead Lingg She is not in the Tower, she may be buried in the cemetery. Since you have a copy of her obit you could create a record and request a photo or call the cemetery and request the location of the grave.

 | Cecil Wray Lingg I did not find Juanita in the Tower of Memories. Cecil is in a niche with Robert and Marjorie Berg. They must have some relationship because someone had to approve of the placement in that niche, but Juanita is not there. Thanks for the info.

 | Sutton, Nellie Nowlan #66605390 This is a duplicate of a memorial page submitted for Nellie Sutton contributed 10/30/09 #4374432. Not only is #66605390 (submitted 3/7/11) a duplicate, but there is no "Chandler Cemetery" in Chandler, OK. Nellie is buried in Oak Park Cemetery.
In the past I've made several attempts to have the F-A-G administrators correct this mix-up so duplicates will not happen...but so far they have done nothing. I am contacting the other contributors at this non-existent 'Chandler Cemtery' asking them to delete their contributions and to make sure of the correct cemetery before re-contributing.
The cemetery at this latitude and longitude is the Our Ladies of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery...It is the only cemetery in this area and has never gone by another name.
In Chandler there is also the Wright Cemetery, which hasn't been used since the early 1900s. At one time it was referred to locally as the Chandler Cemetery, but nothing officially. The Wright Cemetery is thought to be the first cemetery within the town limits...
Thank for your help with this unfortunate matter... If you have any questions please contact me....
I will now contact the administrators about this cemetery and again request that it be eliminated...Added by Okies Kid on Sep 08, 2011 1:43 PM | |

 | Francis & Esther Phelps I have transfered these memorials to you. You have Esther died in Medfield, Middlesex County, MA. Medfield is in Norfolk County not Middlesex. Medford is in Middlesex County. I put her death in Medford. If this is wrong you can change it. Elijah Hall #56978775 and Dorcas Marble Hall #56978978 are the 3rd great grandparents of both you and my wife. Bob Brien Fitchburg MA
