Thanks much for the info that you sent. I wish I could add the obituary but the recent obituaries are under copyright and my understanding is that we are not to use on Find A Grave. I cannot be sure about the dates for Alfred so had better stick with the dates that the family used on his grave marker.

You're welcome! There are also other Adams entries are these related as well?
I'm working on photographing this entire cemetery so there may be more. Have only 2 sections left to work on.

I've been indexing photographs for the Fayette county site. I'm adding names if I find them missing on Find A Grave but not the photo's themselves since I do not have copyright to add photo's someone else took. You can see the photo's themselves on the "unindex" section of cemeteries on the Fayette site.
http://www.pagenweb.org/~fayette/todo/st_steve_bc/index.html (you can contact them & ask permission to use their photos)
I do not have any access to church or cemetery records themselves. I do use ancestry.com to locate many of the actual death records (PA Death certificates 1906-1963), when I need to confirm something. Hope that helps.

Good question..... first off the Linesville Cemetery and Evergreen are totally different places and actually about 10 miles from each other. Not sure why she is listed on the Linesville cemetery index but stating she is buried in Evergreen. Evergreen is in a town called Harmonsburg, PA.
Here is the link to the Evergreen Cemetery. I don't see her name listed, however, that does not mean she isn't there. I would contact the cemetery caretaker at Evergreen and see if they have her in the books. Sorry I could not help you anymore.

I checked the cemetery listing for Evergreen and didn't see her listed in their records. I did find a Mildred Bodisch and added a photo to her memorial. I will leave your request open in case someone else wants to look.

I added the info you sent me, If you want to send any names of relatives you may find such as the children, I will add it in a note on the bio. There were so many lost records/ information/ bodies from that explosion its crazy trying to find family members, and with them being immigrants there are hardly any records. I went back through that cemetery with a lot the memorials I made trying to find additional info for them and didn't have much luck. I still receive emails from people asking me to help them find family since I did that cemetery, but I just don't have any further info to pass on....Someone out there appreciates all the work you are doing!

Thank you for your concern about the photo on the above referenced memorial. Although I created this memorial, I was not the photographer and I cannot take a better photo because I am not in that area. As you note, I did not take the photo, therefore I can not remove it.
If you want a better photo, then please put in a photo request for one. Perhaps someone in the area will be able to help you, but some stones are almost impossible to photograph clearly. In the meantime, an ok-quality photo is better than no photo.

|Linda Cancilla||Szentesi Mihaly|
Hi, Metti, I got your message that you sent me corrections and told me to click the edit tab and accept the changes. I only have the one from Szentesi Mihaly. I hit the edit tab but I don't see where I accept the edits. I must be missing something here.
I am so glad that I got a message from you anyway. I was reading your bio and I see that you have translated gravestones for others. In Section B-1 and B-2 there are gazillions of gravestones written in other languages but I don't know how to translate them since I don't know the language.
So if you could help me with two things I would appreciate it: How to accept an edit, and if you would look at one of the gravestones I have and tell me if you can decipher it. I will send it to your email if you are willing to do so.
