RE: hi
Hi Amanda,

Wow, I never look to see if I have messages. Better late than never I guess. And if by chance I've already responded, forgive me because I don't Not sure what James you are referring to. James Monroe McLeroy is my 3rd great grandfather, James Lewis McLeroy is my 4th great grandfather. If these are not the James's you are talking about...let me know the last name.

RE: hey
I am Odis Arnold. You asked me a question that is difficult to reply to. You put down the name Sarah Blevins Mcleroy and asked if I were related to her. Can't answer that right off the top of my head. I have been researching my family for 25 years. May I ask you a few questions and provide you some info on my lines?
1st question, where did Sarah Blevins live? Was her maiden name Blevins and her married name Mcleroy? Could the last name be spelled wrong, is it McElroy? Do you know what her parents names were?
Now my info. My Blevins line was in Northeast Texas in Titus county. Mt. Pleasant is the county seat. They lived out in the area of town of Cason, Texas. There is a cemetery at Cason called the Blevins Cemetery. A lot of my family line are buried there.
On my mothers side, my Great-Grandfather was James Alexander Smith. He was born in Titus county in 1858, the son of David M. Smith and Nancy Ann Riddle. James Alexander married Rebecca Florence Blevins on 17 Nov. 1881. She was the daughter of John Wesley Blevins and Almira Simpson. John Wesley was the son of Abraham Blevins and Sarah Ann Foreman.
Abraham Blevins was one of the original settlers in Titus county in the 1840's. He came from Morgan county Alabama.
Tell me about your Sarah Blevins. See if we can figure it out. Odis.

Blevins Sent you an email to the email address listed on this site. I had time to check all my notes on Blevins and others in NE Texas. I sent you the info I had on your Thomas (T.J.) Blevins. Plus some other info. Did you receive email? Odis.
