I am so thankful for the photos you are posting of this cemetery. Most of them are related somehow to me and my dream was always to go and visit. It brings it alive now for me!

RE: Dorothy J Ginn Alsever
Says her brother was an Alsever.....so Alsever must be her maiden name.

RE: Tyler & Edwin Church grave photos
Unfortunately, I can't move them; only the person who uploaded them can (except I'm sure the site editors can). I've done the same thing myself a couple of times -- I just had to delete it from the wrong place & add it to the right place.

I have a lot of extended family there in Central Square; my G Grandfather was born in the area before migrating west after the Civil War. His parents made it as far as Iowa, but he made it all the way to Oregon. I think I still have 8 open photo requests there at Hillside.

Do you happen to have access to the cemetery records for Hillside Cemetery? I am trying to locate my GGG Grandfather Levinus Dunbar, who died 13 April 1872 at Central Square. There was only a one-line mention of his death in the newspaper, so I don't know where he might have been buried. He had a reputation for being a drunk, so he probably didn't have enough money for a gravestone. ;-) His widow ended up in Wisconsin with one of her kids (# 75394218).

Thanks again for your help, and have a great weekend!

Thank you very much for the photos; I really appreciate them!

There is a problem with the photo for Edwin Church -- the stone is actually for Edwin E. Church (# 31355972), who was the nephew of the elder Edwin Church. I had not put in a photo request for his gravestone, but I will do so in order that you can receive credit for it.

Canfield
Canfield Tombstone pictures
Dear Mr. Turnbole!
I can't thank you enough for finding and taking pictures of some of the Canfield tombstones in Parish. My dad used to live there during the Depression where he was a caretaker for a doctor who lived in Syracuse during the winter months. We knew there were Canfield cousins in Parish but he said he was too shy to talk to them. Finally we made the connection but we were too late to meet them in person. I am so pleased you were able to do this, thank you again.

Sure thing. They went back and forth between McNitt and McNett. It gets pretty confusing. His father and brother are both McNetts.

RE: Thank you!!
If you get a chance, I would greatly appreciate it - I am at a deadend in my research so any extra hints would be helpful, I'm sure. No rush, though! And if ever need anything out of northern Utah, I would be more than happy to assist to repay you. Thanks again for all your help - my family and I are very grateful!!
