Elizabeth Dickenson Chamblee
I believe this person is in fact Elizabeth Dickson Chamblee who was the daughter of Rev. J. Walter Dickson and Annie Schorb Dickson. Elizabeth is listed in a Dickson family history as having been born on Nov. 23, 1892, exactly a year before your entry. Please email me at to see if we can resolve this.

RE: Henry Clay Wyatt
I don't know whether the information you posted is correct or not. I just know that RootsWeb lists him as buried in Dillon. I was hoping you had more complete information. He is my 3rd cousin from a long line of Lancasters in my family that I have traced back to Virginia. Could you point me to the online cemetery listing you got his information from? I might be able to reconcile the information. If I can, I will be happy to share with you. Thanks!

Henry Clay Wyatt
I seem to have a bit of confusing information on my hands, and I am hoping you can help sort it out. Your memorial for Henry Clay Wyatt lists him as buried in Mountview Cemetery in Billings, MT. However, Rootsweb lists him as being buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, MT. The Dillon listing would make more sense, as he and his wife were married there, and he has other history there as well. Can you help?

RE: John Anthony Gray
That's strange. The two images are there today and no longer broken. In addition, one of the photos has you tagged as the contributor. Thanks anyway.

Would you mind re-uploading your photo(s) of the grave of John Anthony Gray in the Laredo Cemetery? The file that is there is broken. Thanks.

Dear Mr. Kinsey, I am writing to you because I am a Kinsey descendant. Your ancestor, Francis Marion Kinsey, was the brother of my GG Grandmother, Julia Ann Kinsey McDaniel. I have a letter linking Francis M. Kinsey linking him to my GG Grandfather, William McDaniel and Julia Kinsey McDaniel. I do genealogy research and have connected them to each other through William McDaniel's Confederate Pension files in Florida. I can send you a copy of that letter if you wish.

Sincerely, Carol

RE: Thornhill Transferred to you
My heart is warmed with your graciousness and I am honored to have the tranferred!

I will add to the memorial, now, and make links, etc.

I would love to view your tree, but I no longer have a membership to I will Google James Van Buren Smith and see if I can at least view the pages, for sure, though! I'm eager to expand on my Smith line, and it makes if a little difficult when you don't know very many names...and, at my age, the people who do know them are disappearing too soon....

I truly & sincerely appreciate your kindness. Please let me know if there is anything I can ever do, in kind. I'll be happy to help in any way that I can!

Your Friend,

John Henry (J.H.) Thornhill

I wanted to say THANK YOU for adding my great uncle's memorial! His death certificate / documentation just said "City Cemetery", and I didn't know where to "start" looking, so-to-speak! I was so HAPPY to find it! I had given-up on a lot of this vein of my family...

John Henry's father came from Ireland, and that's about where my research ends...

My brother-in-law, whom we just lost in April, was my research Buddy...and, he used to say, "If you want to research John M. Thornhill - get up, go to the wall, and beat your head against it for five solid minutes...and, then you'll be over it...because you're not going to find anything on him"...and, I'm starting to think he may be right, with the research limitations...

Anyhow - I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU!! I am indebted!

Most Sincerely,
(Judith L. Newman - Mesquite, Texas)

Fannie Russell
I want to thank you for transferring the memorial for Fannie Russell to me to manage. Fannie Russell, wife of William Madison "Billy" Holland, was my great grandmother. I am attempting to find out more about her; such as who were her father and mother. I know she was born 4 Feb 1857 in Decatur County, Tennessee and died 11 Jul 193 in Decatur County, Tennessee. I notice from your Find A Grave website that you have created a lot of memorials about people buried in the Gardner-Wylie Cemetery in Decatur County, Tennessee. I do not know where you live or how you ascertain the information for these memorials but I thought maybe you could provide some insight about Fannie Russell's parents and grandparents. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance and may God bless you in your efforts to create more memorials. Harold Garrett

Find A Grave Memorial# 65051254 for Samuel Maddison Reddin has misspelled his surname "Redding."
Both his headstone and the Texas Death Index spell the surname "Reddin."

Thomas Wyatt
Book: History of Texas
Hello Cheryl!

I read a comment you left for another member about a book titled, "History of Texas". Could you tell me the author? I'd like to try and obtain a copy of it for my records.

Noah Bush Wyatt, son of Reuben Henry Wyatt, was my great-great-grandfather. I'd be more than willing to share information on my portion of the family.

Best wishes,

Jarad Carter
George & Adelle Gray
I updated their memorials with the information you provided. Thank you for that information. I couldn't find the memorials for their parents. I did find a John Asbury Gray, but the spouse wasn't the mother of George, so it may not be the correct person. If you can provide the memorial IDs for the parents, I'll link them.

Thank you,

RE: Beverly Orr Havner
Hi Cheryl,
I transferred Beverly to you, along with the Cenotaph memorial. When I find out the location of that marker I will forward that information to you, along with her obituary. Happy Easter to you and yours!

Beverly Orr Havner
Good Morning,
I spoke with Lakeview Memorial Gardens this morning in reference to Beverly. They confirmed by plot location that she was laid to rest beside Buster Orr. Due to the privacy act and Mr. Havner still living, they could not give me any information on the "Havner" marker and plot. I will be going to Lakeview in a few days and will get the location of that marker and post to her cenotaph. Thank you for alerting me to the double memorials.

If you are related to Beverly, I will be more than happy to transfer her to you. Thanks again....

Beverly Orr Havner
Thanks for the heads-up on Beverly Orr Havner. I had no idea they were the same person with two separate markers. I will check with Lakeview tomorrow to be sure which grave she is in and make the other memorial the cenotaph. Thanks again!

RE: Edna Pearl Wyatt Bozarth
Thank you for you reply. You may want to review the Otter Pond Cemetery I added several Wyatt's information and pictures of their headstone they may be related to you. Otter Pond Cemetery is in Princeton, Caldwell County, Kentucky. They are related to me but I still working on how. Most of them are my great-great grandparents siblings who married into the Wyatt family.
