C Cox requested a picture for Rita and thought you would like to know what I found.
Miller-Woodlawn records reflect that Rita's ashes were Taken home so there is no photo. Cyndy B.

RE: George William Carpy
Hi Joy,

George Carpy was married to my dad's first cousin. I grew up in Harrington where he lived and certainly knew him, and his children. I really didn't know any of his family or anything about them. My sister is friends with his daughter, so if there is something you want to ask, I can get the message to her. If there is anything you want to add to his memorial, I can do that.

RE: Grave stone of Mr Sold
Thank you, Joy.
Mom's house, 721 N Broadway, burned on Sept 12, 2012. The Aberdeen World had a dramatic front page story on the fire.
We are listing the house for sale next week, as is.
Mom and her companion escaped unharmed but the south end of the house is a total loss. However, the house in its current conditon is not habitable.
Thanks again,
Greg "Dru" Druzianich

Parker's at Fern Hill
Hi, wondering if you are related to the Parker's in your memorial list. I am researching for my first husband's family. His father was Theodore R Parker and his mother was Laura Lloyd Parker Robins. I would love to fill in the blanks if possible. Sherry Parker Kennedy.

Hello,
I went to the cemetery last weekend in attempt to fulfill your requests however, the office was extremely busy and I was unable to get in. If you call them and get the exact grave/plot number and location I will be able to easily fulfill your request. Please add the info. to the memorials, along with any other individuals within the same cemetery you'd like pics of and I'd be happy to go back. :)

Vera West photo request
Unfortunately, there is no marker. I am uploading a photo of the area. There are two other Wests buried in this lot: Robert and Emma. I have added memorials for them, with photos.

I am sorry this was not a more positive outcome.

Best Regards,
Bonnie

Hello Joy,

You are very welcome! It is my pleasure.

I have been reading guides on cleaning headstones. It is amazing what a small amount of plain water and a mild brush will do.

Rennin Fint
I called Retsil and the caretaker of the cemetery called me back this morning.
He has no record of Rennin being buried at the cemetery at Retsil WA. This afternoon he called back and said he went through a DVD record that someone did of all the graves in the cemetery this last summer. There are 6 unmarked graves but no record of Rennin. He wondered if maybe he was buried at Kent, Orting or Spokane veteran cemetaries. I am sorry we are unable to locate his burial site. If there is anything else I can do to help you, please contact me. I will put a problem link on his tribute page.

You are welcome! It was my pleasure.

I truly feel blessed to take pictures of our World War ll veterans. They are disappearing by 1000 every day. My dad is a WWll veteran, also.

Gene

RE: Ritchie / Ritchey
Thanks Joy,

I actually have a lot of information on Philip Ritchey, but I don't have where he was buried, assuming it is somewhere near Loudoun County, Virginia as that is where they were. Recently found Isaac Ritchey's grave in Rockingham, County, Virginia. I know where Francis (Franz) is buried here in Bedford County, and must get time to take a picture of his stone. He is buried on the family farm he had bought when he came to Bedford County, now owned by a Dibert family in Snake Spring Valley / Township. Also believe another branch of my Ritchey's are actually the same going back to Phillip as well. Making three branches of direct ancestors on my Mother's side.

But we will have to keep in touch. I live in Bedford County, so if there are any things you want to know or need, let me know.

Ritchie / Ritchey
Hello Joy,

I think I am a cousin in Bedford County Pennsylvania. I have found lately with the Find a grave website it has improved my genealogical research to the point I am filling in tons of blanks. I see you posted on Isaac Ritchie b 1735 d 1824, son of Philip b 1700 d 1755. I was wondering if you know where Philip was buried?

Rita Norbut
I contacted Miller Woodlawn and they had no record. I sent them her obituary that said she would be inurned there. He did more research and sent me the following message:

the urn was returned to family in Feb of 2002.

I am sorry that I wasn't able to take a photo for you. I hope you can find where her ashes were dispersed.

I will also remove the request from Find a Grave with the information he gave me.
