In Memory of my son Ronald and mother Piney
Hilda Marie Howlett Bolen 154301385
Hello Larry,
Would you correct the year that Hilda died it was 1991 not 2014 she was my third cousin on my mother side. Also thanks for posting all the tombstone for Hanna Lilly Cemetery I have a lot of family members on moms side buried there. My maternal grandparents and my maternal great grandparents, great uncles and great aunts plus lots of cousin. Again thanks for the work you did. My Aunt Polly McBride still lives in Fireco.

Hi ! Could you possibly removed the picture you added to Find A Grave Memorial# 68106554 and re-add is as a family photo- not as a gravestone? Appreciate it!

Delma & Glen Farley
Larry,

Hello!

I didn't know if you were related to Delma Wallace or not but I thought I'd ask - the Glen Farley that is in the Sunset Cemetery with Delma Wallace - is that her brother? Delma's middle name by the way is Cleo - I put in the edit for it - here is her birth registry

and marriage certificate

http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=11499949&Type=Marriage

just in case you didn't have them!

Thanks,
Keith Meadows

RE: Julius Rudolf Peterson 66565929
Just noticed Larry that there was a transcription error on the memorial #....the first "59" should be a "56" for your mother, Ann done by the member who has John Milton Baldwin's memorial.

RE: Julius Rudolf Peterson 66565929
Hello Larry,
Thank you for your message, but I did not make Julius the father of John Baldwin. Someone else must have done this link-probably the one who made the memorial for Private John Baldwin (#108767298). I could not add parent links to your John Baldwin...besides that, Julius was only one year old and never married. Wish I could help you with this one...

re: George Washington Duppee
Thanks for answering so quickly. I live only about 20 minutes from the cemetery, but I have never been there. I may get there before April, but if not please look for it. His death certificate says he is buried there, but he might not have a stone. Thanks again!

Clyde Wallace
Hi Larry,
Hope you had a nice Christmas. Was just wondering if you had time to go through those pages I sent you from the Walker book and if there are any changes/corrections/updates you can give me so I can mark them in my book. Did you get a chance to talk to Clyde's grandson and see if her real name is Clyde or Clyta? No hurry, just came across some old notes and was wondering where you've been!
Happy New Year!
Bev

Thornton Pennington
Hi Larry,

I was wondering if you know anything about Thornton Pennington and his wife Elizabeth Combs? My GG grandfather's name was Richard Combs, he would have been born around 1863 in North Carolina. The story is that he was an orphan who was raised by a Pennington relative. I have his marriage record to Susan Totten where his name is actually listed as Minda Pennington. He lists is parents as, what I thought was Thompson and Besty (fathers name was hard to read, I had gotten the Thom, but couldn't get the rest, but was to long to be Thomas, so I thought Thompson, now I'm wondering if it was maybe Thornton). Anyway, after that marriage record, he started going by the name of Richard Combs. I had always assumed that his father's name was Combs and his mother was maybe Pennington, but now I'm wondering if maybe I had it backwards). Do you know what happened to Elizabeth after Thornton died or what happened to their son Poindexter? Thank you for your time.

Michelle

ROBERT MONTE WALLACE
Find A Grave Memorial# 65772022

Larry, while researching this Wallace family tree, I have come across a Robert M Wallace, on Find-A-Grave, Find A Grave Memorial# 7617556; no birth date, died 1939, buried Santa Ana Cemetery, Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA. Have you found any other info on this poor man since putting it in Find A Grave in 2003? My intuition tells me it is the same Robert, but I hesitate to save it. Such a sad story.
Regards, Sharon

Patrick Stephen Wallace
I am looking for info on an old friend from school days, elementary school through jr. high. He was a dear friend, taught me how to play bridge and gave my first "real" books beginning with "To Kill A Mockingbird" about fourth grade. I always wondered what happened to Steve. A best friend.
