Re: Elizabeth Mccurry
Thanks for the correction of her mother's name. That info was sent to me from someone else, but am glad to correct it.

Sylvia, I'm really not sure where I got the information from. I think some one sent me a correction tab and ask me to add it. I will look into it further this weekend. I am headed to Crenshaw County in the morning to do more cemetery hopping and Saturday on into Sunday I will be recording my finds. I will make sure to add this search into it.

RE: Sarah Ralls(Rawls)
Hi Sylvia,

I know all the older graves are listed, as the ones I posted are from a 1970 cemetery census my aunt did. If folks have been buried since that time, I don't know as I haven't visited the cemetery myself (I live in TN).

Have you any idea where your relatives are buried?

Best regards,
Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal

RE: Earl Eugene Scruggs
Thank you Sylvia, for handling this, at least the county will be correct. Seems to me if they are going to maintain a memorial, the very least they could do is get it correct. To them Shelby & Flint Hill may be the same, but those of us who were born & live in Cleveland County, know the difference & don't want our history changed. Also, findagrave is now being used by internet genealogists who don't bother to check original sources so this error is going to go down in their family histories. I just found the message to me from Mr. Crews verbally smacking my hand for not contacting findagrave to make the correction since he didn't create the bio. Hmmm...why create the memorial for such a famous man & not create your own bio... Thanks again, Judy

Thanks. I have made this correction. Since it is a famous memorial, only Find A Grave administrators are able to make changes.

RE: Earls Birth
Sylvia,

In regards to your note... I did indeed originally create the memorial Earl Scruggs, but if you look at his page you will see that the Biography was supplied by Wikipedia (not me)... furthermore the memorial is maintained by FindAGrave now as it is a famous memorial.... I have no access to change anything in the biography. You should be using the suggest a correction tab or the message boards in the Discussion Forum asking FindAGrave personnel to make the corrections.

Thanks,

Jason Crews

RE: Thanks Rebecca
You might want to check out my virtual cemeteries. You will probably find some more of your relatives. It is a work in progress. I am trying to link up my family and Mark's family. I am creating memorials as I find out where people are buried and adding pictures as I can, sending out photo requests for the ones that are too far away etc. If you know of any that should be there that aren't, please let me know. Also, feel free to add pictures to them. I need all the help I can get.

Yes, I am Ed and Malinda's daughter in law. My husband is Mark, who passed away 7 years ago.

I will add your info in the bios. I cannot link to a burial unknown as they are subject to deletion after 30 days and not acceptable on a site named find a grave.

Insofar as creating a duplicate, it is not recommended as a deliberate duplicate can endanger your membership.

I am sorry but I don't see where I have done this. I want to correct it. Can you send me the #'s so I can look the site up that way? Thanks for pointing this out to me

PLEASE do add your photos & send me any corrections.

Most contributors are very glad if photos are added, and anyone can add them.

Thank you so very much.
