RE: C. Kaczmarczyk -Photo
I will put it on my list of things to double check come spring. I've certainly found enough stones with wrong dates on them -- usually because someone is working from memory when putting up the stone years after someone's death. If you get an edit on it from someone with firm info, let me know, otherwise I'll let it stay until I can double check the plot location. Thx!

Anton Keller
Every couple of months I go to the section where Anton Keller, whom you requested over a year ago, is buried. I checked again a few days ago & he still is not on the stone with John Knoernschild. Just letting you know.

Karl Romig - Mt. Muncie
Hi! I wanted to let you know I've uploaded your request for Karl Romig. I also added photos to his parents memorials, Adolf & Clara. His wife, Allene, and grandmother, Karoline, didn't have memorials so I created ones for them along with a photo. Would you like a transfer of Allene and Karoline? Let me know. Thanks!

Best Regards

photo of headstone
Hi, is there anyway I can get a photo of Elizabeth's headstone? She is my mother and I live in another state. She is buried with my dad, Robert Nixdorf Died March of 2006. The are buried next to Elizabeth's sister Shirley Nevison. She died April 2006. Also, if there is a way to get Elizabeth's mothers headstone photo that would be a tremendous gift. Her name was Irene Garrow McKenzie died dec 25, 1981. I don't have her plot number and tried calling the office but they close early and I'm in a different time zone. thank you for being a gift to the grieving. Donna

Photos for you!
Now my Godawful year is over, I've been trying to get some photos at Oakwood done before the winter sets in. I've plugged in quite a few for you over the last week. I like the fact that I can take photos of newer graves and know you probably already have the memorial and the obits up for me to add them to. We make a good team, doncha think? :D

Elizabeth Betty McKenzie Nixdorf
Thank you for providing find a grave with my mother's obituary. I've been researching her side of the family and was surprised to find Elizabeth's information here. I have other family members resting in this cemetery. Do you know how I can get that information and post it? Thank you again for your kindness and for remembering my mother. Donna

Bob Bartell
Bartell Family Plot

My name is Bob Bartell. My grandfather was John Bartell who is buried in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lewiston. I recently returned from the area had taken photos of the entire family in the cemetery.

I also visited with some of my Bartell cousins in the Rochester area.
I told them that I would try and amplify on the memorials you started at their plot.

Would you consider transferring ownership of the following memorials to me?

Joseph Bartell
Rose Bartell
Eva Bartell
William Bartell
John Bartell
Catherine Swiezy Bartell

I look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Rose Fellabick
Thank you for your prompt attention regarding the incorrect last name. This has haunted me for many years and now it is finally the way it should be.

Thank you!

Incorrect information
My Aunt, whom you have listed as, Rose Ferbowicz, that was buried on June 4th, 1917, in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, is incorrect.

I checked with the caretaker and in the records, written is the last names of ferbowicz, but, also, listed is fenbowski, as a last name. Almost looks like 2 people are buried there, but there is not.

Neither last names are correct, my grandparents did not speak English and this is why these incorrect names may have been wrongly misunderstood.

However, the headstone is correct, even tho it is extremely westhered.

The CORRECT name is ROSE FELLABICK. Most of the family is buried in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery next to the holy trinity cemetery.

If it is at all possible I wish to have this corrected , so future generations may be able to locate this child.

Thank you for your time.

Medley at Oakwood
I added photos to Joseph's memorial and submitted an edit for his date of birth. For some reason I can never get him to come up in a search when I use his first and last names -- even adding in year of death. Only by searching in Oakwood under Medley can I get his name to come up. I wonder why that is?

Mt Olivet Cemetery (St. Marys)
Hi! I have finished uploading photos for Mt Olivet, at least the ones that have an existing memorial. I will be emailing you that list of birth dates, there are quite a few, sorry about that. I tried to notice if you had already included a birth date before writing them down, but there may be one or two that I missed.

Also, I'm still working on uploading Mount Olivet and there are yet again several of them that have birth dates. If its okay with you I would like to forward that list to you when I am done, just like the last list. Please let me know.

Hello. Today I walked the Eagle Mills Cemetery looking to fill photo requests. It is a well maintained cemetery and easy to walk. I did not find the stones you requested. There were some old, worn stones that were unreadable. There were a couple stones that had fallen face down. I try to be careful but could have missed a name. I wanted to let you know your requests are active and not overlooked.

RE: Catharine Haas Photo!
There wasn't a family marker per se. There were actually 3 markers in the plot. 1st-Catherine. 2nd-Anna (#36467849) & John (Catherine's husband)(#36467857) 3rd - Peter (#36467860) & Christina (#36467852). Not sure how they are all connected.

RE: Thanks for Cooper Photo's
You are very welcome. On that same concrete rim is a Betsy Sims who is not on Find-A-Grave and I took a picture of her name too. Do you know who this Betsy Sims is? Dave Floyd, Martha Floyd and Oma and Mary Floyd are also with your Coopers. Are they relatives?

RE: Lou Ann
I'll keep looking when I go out there. Sent my location request to the office in KC on Oct 14, then sent 3 more emails and haven't heard anything. There's no one here in Leavenworth at the cemetery. I've reported so many things to them to repair, it's sad. Yes, I remember it being in the paper when it was sold. I have the cell number of the guy in charge in KC, guess I'll have to start going through him.
Have a great week and Happy (belated) Birthday!

Mary of the Annunciation Coyne
No problem, yes moved grave. We did it that way because the listing of graves on Old St. Mary's is the only public listing available for that cemetery. There are many that trying to research in that cemetery which is now under a park so the historian I entered the data for has compiled a listing of graves from all the various records she has and made it available to the public on Old St. Mary's findagrave with notes documenting which were moved and which are probably still there.

RE: Mount Carmel Pics!
It was an honor to be able to supply photos of the Carmelite Burial Plot. It is located very close to the graves of my grandparents and great-grandparents. After all of these years I decided to photograph the markers when I noticed that you had posted memorials for all of these religious men.
There are 27 graves in this plot. I photographed 26; one was claimed by another member.
Many of the markers have not aged well. I did the best that I could to clean and take quality photos. I hope that by enlarging the photos they are more readable.
Thank you for the great work that you do.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Alexander Watkins is my father's brother and I have been trying for a few years to find where he was buried. I appreciate this more than you know. I have e-mailed the cemetery for any records they may have. I also sent a photo request via find a grave. Thanks again.
