The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”
There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at email@example.com to learn the exact location of Augusta Root #83233115, Warren Root #83233130, Infant Root #83233123, and Gladys Root #83233121, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!

|Lisa R. Garrett||Memorial# 90708022 William H Root|
Hoping you can help me out. I'm researching the Franklin and Lucinda Pletcher Root family. They had no children of their own, but adopted William H. Stigenwalt (b. 1866) and his younger sister Effie. William later legally changed his last name to Root. Thought I had found him in census records married to Addie and living in Iola as did his adoptive parents, but this entry shows this William as Jacob Root's son. Do you have any information on William H. Stigenwalt Root? His adoptive mother's obituary has a little detail: Memorial# 88413625. Appreciate any help you can provide.

I married a Cates, and did the Cates research for my kids. I was lucky to live in the area where they lived here in KY and met up with a few other researchers. I have uploaded a PDF with the tree for WE Cates. Unfortunately, I have not "verified" the information myself, but the people I got the info from were confident in their research, with records, etc. I do not doubt its validity.
Hope that helps.

Your edit request is being declined because I cannot make Josiah Root 1733 - 1768, the father of Josiah Root 1733 – 1768.

Unfortunately, there is no marker for his grave. I took picture of the area where his grave is; I will post that.

The cemetery record for Gladys states she died 28Feb1922 at age 13y 7m 11d and the daughter of George. However, there is no record of a George ROOT buried in Woodlawn. Walked Park (section) "D" twice and did not locate a marker for Gladys. There is a ROOT marker though and is for Marvin E. and Ottilia G. Marvin 1878-1972 Age 92y. Ottilia 1882-1966 Age 84y. Have a photo of this stone marker if interested. There are a total of 20 ROOT entries in Woodlawn Cemetery records.

Cemetery records have Augusta resting in Park (section) "A" also but did not, as of yet, locate a marker. Will do a third walk-through after searching for the other 128 requests in this cemetery.

In two walk-throughs of Park (section) "A", where the cemetery records state a possible Mary, d. Feb 4, 1888 is buried. Might she be near the nine (9) ROOT markers such as: Lydia, Charles, and Emily J.?

You requested a marker photo. I added 3 obituaries for him and this removed your request. Please re-request someone to take the marker picture for you.

|Kathy Franks||Martha Cochran - Union Grove|
Bob, you had requested a picture of Martha's headstone back in 2012. I have been to Union Grove several times and have not found a headstone for Martha, John and their sons George, Charley or Fredie. I suspect that they are all buried near their son Clede and daughters Nancy McAmis and Blanche Martin as there is a large area near their stones that has no stones showing who is buried there. I have not been able to find Missouri death certificates for their son Jay and daughter Charlett and suspect they died while the family was living in Oklahoma.

I think if you look at Memorial# 32194718 you will see that this is probably who you are looking for. In finding her death notice I see the dates are the same.

I rejected your link to A.J. Cates because he was Emile's step father, not his father. Elizabeth Withrow married Emile Santschi 3/19/1881 and they had a son, Emile Eugene Santschi 12/13/1881. After Emile Sr's death, she remarried AJ Cates 12/21/1886, when Emile Jr. was about 5 1/2.

Also the cemetery gave me a copy of the lot card for the Murphys that you may want to look at. I will be happy to send it to you. It may have some clues for you. Just let me know.

I found Edgar Murphy today and uploaded a photo. I also found:
Clara P Murphy (1907-1991)
Jacolynn I. Murphy (1936-1981)
Queen D. Payne (7/14/1885-4/13/1975)
Clara and Jacolynn have pages but Queen does not. Would you please make a page for Queen and then send separate photo requests for all three so I can upload their photos? Thanks so much.

Elizabeth is list in the cemetery though
Bridgett is not though looking at Buchan county I see in 1910 there was a Green Grave Yard not listed on find a grave unless it is Greenard Cemetery and that only list two people. I don't know maybe contact the funeral home and go from there if I can help let me know.
PS I will try to get Elizabeth stone picture though on my list it shows that there is no stone though I will look the next time I go out.
