Thank you so much for the wonderful photo. I was in Biloxi and in Gulf Port 10 years ago, and I toured the Seabees Museum, in memory of my dad, and I left his writings of the 58th Seabees in their hands. Lamar was in the 58th Seabees, as was my dad. Thank you very much for the photo - it means a lot to me. I hope the family will someday find this memorial and know that we cared.

Patricia Mason Memorial
Thank you for the photo of Pat's marker. I see your husband is of the Mason Line. If at all possible could you post a photo of Pat herself. I got a copy of her obituary from the Biloxi library. We are making a memorial booklet for our nursing school's 50th reunion, to be held Aug 3. She was a fun loving classmate. We still count her as a classmate even though health caused her to drop out after 2 years.

No problem Gayle. It is good you do photos for people. I usually get my friend Ann to do photos for me on the coast. The Higginbothams were family friends of my parents. A whole group of them lived in Biloxi. Most have since passed on.
Thanks for deleting the duplicate. Appreciate it.

Bobbie

George, If she is your relative I will be happy to give you the memorial. She is related to me thru the Krohn family, but not closely. If you want the memorial I can transfer it to you. Just trying to keep the duplicates from appearing as it could be confusing some people.

Thanks,
Bobbie

...marks indicating lot lines, all slid left. You would be looking towards highway with bay beyond it. Nixon lot to your right side. Second or third lot in from highway, second row right from old pathway on which you stand; nearest lot not touching your old pathway through old gate.

RE: John Nixon
Please do not make work out of it, within a month will be great. I did not recognize the view in your photo, but that may not mean much. If you faced towards the water with highway before it; and you were in line with the old entrance; if my memory serves, the Nixon small tomb (white, very old, only half the stones with data still intact. The Nixon side would be to your right side (as you look through the gate towards highway/water), the second file of lots to your right. That i those touching the road being the first row, the row next away from the road/path in the cemetery (not in use). The Nixon lot is the second or third from the highway.

Thank you for fulfilling my request for Belin Higginbotham. Since he died in 2009, I expected a permanent marker would have been installed by now. The shots look great. Well done!
