I have linked Ella to her father Frederick Holt and her mother Lucy Collins Holt. Thanks for providing this information to me! Are you a Holt descendant? I am doing research on the descendants of David & Frankie (Collins) Holt and their descendants. They are my ggg grandparents.

Thank you for having the kindness to post a "bio" of him, but there is no record of his burial in the Spotsylvania C.H. Confederate Cemetery.
If you have documentation that he was buried in there, would you please share?
I'm always interested in various sources..!

All you need to do is click edit burial. A page will pop up. Select unknown at this time. I myself have some family members I have been unable to find and have created memorials for. Its not something I try to make a habit of..but there some people that you know will likely never be found, civil war veterans..etc. If you make that change I will be happy to link to your unknown. Some contributors will not.
There are other selections that can be made as well, body lost, donated to medical science, lost at sea, cremated ashes scattered ect..
Thanks for understanding and making this change, Brad

Hi Tony, I did make the link for Ellen to her father. The memorial you created for her mother I will not link to unless you post a gravestone photo. Memorials should not be placed in cemeteries unless you have some sort of evidence that she is actually there. That is misleading to other users of this site. It would be better if you wish to create a memorial for her that you make her burial "unknown"

I notice that you visited the Hildreth cemetery and took some photos.
Can you tell me exactly how to reach this cemetery? I understand that it is on O'dells knob, but I can not find a way to reach it.

You wanted me to link Susanna to John Tash (Johannes Tesch) but I can't find him. Does he have a memorial?

|Janice Dyer Doran||update|
Tony, I updated John Beegle's memorial page. You said you had him being born Sep 4, 1834, but the stone says 1831. Do you want me to leave it like the memorial stone, 1831?

Tony, I went ahead and added Johny to Find A Grave and connected him to his wife, Goulda. If you want to copy and post their memorial stone picture, that would be nice.

Tony, Got your request to link Goulda to her second husband, but he is not yet entered in Find A Grave. Would you like to enter him or would you like me to? If he is a relative of yours go ahead and enter him and connect him to Goulda. She is connected to me by her first husband, Beaver.

Put information you sent on his memorial and made connections. The head stone looks like 1882 year of birth made notes in Bio. I couldn't find anything else on West Virginia Vital Research records not family search.org. I try to back what I have with records, but do add what is sent to me. Are you a relative?

Well, ya never know when it will show up. We are heading to WV this week and I will probably walk a few cemeteries. There are several names I look for as I walk, and the name "Newlon" will be fresh in my mind.
Happy Researching, Bud.
PS. I found my son in laws father's grandfather's headstone in Tenn. He told stories about his rebel CW vet., and he turned out to be a Union soldier. I was afraid to tell him. BB

Fingers too fast (crooked) and hit wrong key again. Sorry, but I have never been up there. I was looking through a book on cemeteries of Richie County and putting on Find A Grave family names I was researching so they would be available later. This is a nice place to store information you find in all sorts of places. Goff was one of my sister in laws family names I was doing.
Happy Researching, Bud
PS If this is one of yours, or one that you would like control over I will be happy to transfer the memorial over to you. Sister in law passed away and I just stopped after losing her. BB
