If you would like to take a look at Rosenna and John's memorials I have the memorial number. Here is Rosenna's 115288680

Just so you know I am through their daughter Phoebe Rosenner Simpson Bambarger. I have a picture of her and I put it on her memorial. I think her and Isaac ( Charity's son) have some similarity's. They don't completely look alike but they look like they can be cousins. Thank You so much for helping me. I really appreciate it.

I also found this index of New Jersey marriages. John and Rosenna were mentioned. Rosenner's name was Rosenna Soper on the index. So it looks like that is her name.

A relative gave me the info. But I did know her birth date and death date. Another relative told me that her name was Roseanna Soper. I am not sure. But I really think that my Grandpa John was the son of William Simpson and Sarah Brown. Because Their son was born in 1810 and so was my Grandpa. And They were born the same place. But I will have to research it out further. Also my Grandma Phoebe has some similarity's to Charity Simpson's son Isaac so that makes me believe a lot more that my Grandpa John is Charity's brother. Thank You!

Yes Rosenner Sopher or Rozener there are two different spellings. 20 Dec 1806 in Essex County, New Jersey & died 18 Dec 1860 in Somerset, Washington Co, PA. She married John Simpson. He was born in 1810. Here is all of their children.

Sarah E Simpson Devore (1829 - 1912)
Jotham Simpson (1831 - ____)
Permelee Simpson (1831 - ____)
Charity Simpson (1834 - 1836)
Jane Simpson Amalong (1836 - ____)
Obudiah Simpson (1839 - ____)
John Simpson (1841 - 1855)
Martha Ann Simpson (1843 - ____)
Wesley Simpson (1846 - 1846)
Sylvester Simpson (1849 - 1849)
Phoebe Rosenner Simpson Bambarger (1851 - 1926)
John married again and had two other children Emmanuel and Theodore. We know for sure that Theodore was from John's 2nd marriage.

Simpson and Sopher
Hello I was really curious about William Simpson and Sarah Brown. They had a son named John I saw somewhere that he was born in 1810 just like my Grandpa John. My Grandpa John was also born in New Jersey. He married Rosenner Sopher. She was born in 1806. Their children have a lot of the same names as Johns siblings so I really think that its the same person. And I am thinking that Charity Simpson's husband is a brother or something like that to my Grandma Rosenner. Because he named his daughter Rosenner. Do you have any information? Thank You!

Sopher Monument
Dee,
I just wanted to let you know that when I took the pictures of Isaac Sopher's monument, all four sides had inscriptions; one for Orcyna (which I have also provided for you), one for what appears to be a daughter, Emma, and a son, Myrtle both of which who died very young. I do have pictures of all four sides if you desire.

Hi Dee,

Linking a child to his parents has to be done from the child's memorial. I would be delighted if you would link William Memorial# 64532420 with his parents Silas Memorial# 74814745 and Lucy Memorial# 74814722

If there is anything you would care to have me add to Silas or Lucy's memorials, let me know.

Thank for caring,

Mary

William and Sarah are my 4th great grandparents on my mothers paternal side I was so pleased to see these memorials. Do you have any other information. My line is from Israel Simpson who married Jane Smith I have been totally unable to find their final resting places. Their daughter Elizabeth Jane Simpson married James Burrows I can not find his final resting place either. Their daughter Jane Genevive Burrows married (I still have her watch and some needle work she did)Daniel Edward Norris. Their son Paul Burrows Norris is my maternal grandfather. His daughter Dorynda Jane Norris Lyons is my mother. Thank you for any information that you might want to share.
Sincerely,
Gail Lyons Grier
