Yes it is nice to finally know what happened to Hannah. And the information I got was from another researcher so I am going by her word as she is the one who has actually walked that cemetery and knows quite abit about it. I can't remember her name, but when I figure out where I put that information I will let you know.

|Melody Roswell||RE: Horace Monroe Morse Family|
Yes that is correct cousin. She married an Edward Sebastian Moore on 29 Sep 1891 in Travers City, Grand Travers Co. MI. They never went west to the Snohomish Co. WA area with her folks in 1907. Instead they went to Detroit, Wayne Co. MI and raised their family. They were blest with 7 children, all of them I have not found all the information on them that I need. If you need what I have just ask, will be glad to send it to you.

|Melody Roswell||Horace Monroe Morse Family|
Horace and Anna Maria Thacker-Morse had 8 children:
1. William Delos 1868-1955
2. Lila Adelia 1869-1911
3. Winnie (Minnie) Matilda 1871-1967
4. Charles Monroe 1875-1926
5. Orin Dewitt 1876-1946
6. Arthur Garfield 1880-1950
7. Harry Logan 1885-1988
Winnie stayed behind because she had married a man by the name of Edward S. Moore b. 12 July 1878 in Bayham, Elgin, Ontario, Canada d. 25 Sept. 1948 in Detroit, Wayne Co. MI They married on Sept 29, 1891 in Traverse, Grand Traverse Co. MI. Winnie was born 1 Aug 1871 in Richland, Defiance Co. OH and died on 6 Jan 1967 in Detroit, Wayne Co. MI. I haven't been able to locate their final resting place as of yet.
All of Horace and Anna's children are buried either at the GAR cemetery in Snohomish or the one child Arthur is buried at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale, Whatcom Co. WA site. Most of Arthur's family is there. The only other one that I haven't found is Harry Logan Morse and where he and his wife are buried at. I know from census that they lived reall close to the coast of WA,

I have found a burial place for her but was told by another researcher that she was born in 1829 in Chemung, Chemung Co. NY and before Henry and Selena could move to MI she drown in the Chemung river in June 1845. She is buried in the Hicks Cemetery, Van Etten Junction, Chemung Co. NY.
I believe that this could have caused Henry and Selena to separate and go their own way before leaving for MI.

Looked through the cemetery pretty thoroughly for a couple of hours. Sorry, we could not find Hannah. There were a number of other other Cornells in different areas of the cemetery including some whose headstones were, unfortunately, unreadable. If there were later Cornell relatives buried there, it might narrow the area in which to look for Hannah's grave.

Very nicely done. I think you added additional information. Thank you. My purpose is to have the memorials mention that they are Revolutionary vets.

Thanks for the quick reply. My surname is Cornwell and they were in Dutchess and Schoharie counties before they moved west. I have gotten stuck and have resorted to trying to track as many as I can to see if there is a connection. I have noted your contact information and if I come up with anything I will let you know.
I am located in Minnesota, so tracking New York information can be a challenge, but I keep trying.

Do you, by chance, have any information about who his parents are?
I am have Corn(w)ell ancestors in New York and I am have reached somewhat of a brick wall and I am hoping to track down others to see if somehow I can connect mine.

Thanks so much for sponsoring her memorial. I appreciate it. Today, I updated her memorial to include a list of her children and a link to her second husband, Gasper Potterf (my 4th great grandfather). I plan to create a memorial for her first husband even though I do not have information on where he is buried.
