RE: Ellen Maria Mallon
People sometimes jump to picturing a very large pit-like where the deceased transferred from S.f. were ... well, dumped. That wasn't so at all ... Respect and dignity prevailed, so I've read & been told by Holy Cross staff. There are some fine articles on that subject on the internet that can be found through Google.

Glad to have helped!!

RE: Annie Bingham
Hello!! I am doing some volunteer work for Gracelawn Cemetery in this particular Section B. I looked up Annie Bingham in my Ancestry.com. The 1940 federal census has her living in Van Buren, Crawford county, Arkansas with her husband, James P. Bingham. He is 74 and she is 70. Says that Annie was born in Mississippi. James was born in Tenn. Says he was an insurance agent. Their daughter is in the census, Norma Howell, born in Arkansas. All three gravestones are together, if I remember correctly. In the 1930 census they are in Van Buren, AR. In the 1920 census they are in Lamar (Yell County) Arkansas. Children are listed as Amelia Bingham, age 21, and Raymond Bingham, age 19. I hope this helps some.

TLH
Ira Brackeen photo request
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336

or to email them, the link is:
http://www.laurellanddallas.com/home/contact_us.html

There are over 229 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help. : )

RE: William Wesley Pratt ~ Lake Creek
Not really ... I've been there a few times after the requests had accumulated; but it's just about the farthest limit of my normal routine ...

I think there are some voluteers working out of Paris, Texas, that get there on occasion ... only about 15 miles for them.

J I Stanley ~ Oaklawn
I found no monument for a Jessie Stanley ... HOWEVER ... there is a monument for J I Stanley (1881-1926) at rest alongside Leander Stanley. If that is your loved one, please submit a photo request for it; and I will get a shot of it for you.

RE: Caroline Roney
You are welcome. I put a new picture of Caroline and George on their memorials yesterday. My daughter took the first ones. I went back yesterday to see if I could not get better pictures. I wanted to tell you that I found Caroline living with her daughter in the census of 1930. So we know she lived that long.
