the name in schleswig-holstein, germany 1845 census was usually jungclaus with 2 dots above u.
this province was previously danish, before germany took it over about 1866. the danish censuses are called verzeichniss. the 1845 census is very detailed. it asks ages, maiden names & what village & province born in. many jungclaus are in suderdithmarschen county = south dithmarschen county. you need a village born in from old church record membership lists in u.s.a. & inf. from county seat newspapers after the funeral. some older jungclaus in the schleswig-holstein censuses moved there from hannover province. salt lake city has these censuses on microfilm. also microfilmed parish records. but you need to check a german church gazeteer pre WW I, for the villages parish location. martin johnson danish german descendant from this area.

I have added Willer? to the memorial as Clara's maiden name. Is this the correct spelling? I'm sorry for deleting your request, but I thought you had requested it be entered as her middle name & I clicked decline & then realized you had entered it as a maiden name. My apologies. Sincerely, Judy
