SENGER-MORGAN, Maxine, # 123928083
BA Benger, I am interested in making contact. I am doing genealogy research for the family of George Addison Morgan, Maxine's second husband. We were hoping to get in touch with Maxine prior to now; last contact was with a grandniece in August of 2013, and she was going to check with Maxine. It is with great sadness that I realized my follow-up is too late. // Perhaps someone in the family can help us. There were two elderly women in the Morgan family who resided together in their later years and had possession of a family Bible, which we hope would yield more clues in tracing genealogy. Any details, however remote, may help. // I would love to hear from you and/or reach the grandniece again. The phone number I have for her is no longer valid. I look forward to hearing from you, and again, my sincere condolences. -- LC Johnson

John J. Roberts

Do you know if your ancestor John J. Roberts in the Arvonia Cemetery is a Confederate Veteran or not?
I have a man by this name in the ranks of the 8th Virginia Infantry. Hoping it might be the same man.
I am the Historian for this Regiment trying to locate burial sites for as many as I can find.
Appreciate any help you can provide.

Your servant,

Frederick E. Minson (Grafton Christian Church)
I linked him to his wife per your request. Over a year ago I went and took a photo of each stone and added memorials and images as needed. There were only a few very old stone I couldn't read. The cemetery at Grafton is a beautiful one surrounding the church. Thanks for helping.
