RE: Barbetta Thomann
The only legible text on the stone was the name THOMANN. The first name might be Maria. As there are 2 Maria Thomanns buried there, that seems like a good possibility. I'm guessing here--but it appears that you did not access the photo caption. Go to the page and click on the grave photo--it's a thumbnail link to the actual photo. The caption should appear beneath the enlarged image after you click on the thumbnail.

RE: Sarah Finlay
You're very welcome. Does the name A. Elizabeth Donovan mean anything to you? I photographed her grave also, just in case.

Studer/Studor Burials at White Lake
Hi, Karen,

I am the gg granddaughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Studer/Studor who are buried at White Lake. The age on his headstone would indicate that he was born in 1817 rather than 1815. I had gotten the information about his birthplace from someone who was able to access the St Trinitatis Church Records, but am wondering where you found the maiden name of his mother, Magdalena?

Jacob and Elizabeth Studer/Studor also had two other children: Henry (1846, France - 1913, Woodgate) and Philip (1841, France - 1906, White Lake) and both are buried at White Lake Cemetery. Sarah Studor Hahn was my great grandmother.

Nice job on St. Josephs. You have made a couple of duplicates which I have sent edits on. I also found one that I duplicated and removed.
Thank you,

Thank you so much for the picture of Joseph L. Ano.
He was the son of Joseph Ano and Sarah Perry. Joseph Ano ran a big saw mill on the Black River. Their son George Ano married my gAunt and together they raised my grandmother and uncle. My Mother remembers them well.

Thank you,

Winifred Pearl Donahue Meneilly
Hello, is this the correct picture for Winifred (# 70259903)? I don't see her name on the stone. You just added a photo of her husband James Robert Meneilly yesterday. Is she buried next to him?

RE: John Lilly
I am pretty sure she is still alive, do you want a pic of the gravestone anyway ?? I just thought that would be improper for me to do if she was still alive. I will check the cemetary in the next few days.

John Lilly
What was his wifes name, I'm not sure but I think this was the one that had a double stone, but no date of death for the wife, so I didnt take the pic. Normally I would take all names that were in that area, but since she seemed to be still alive I didnt think it proper to take the pic. If you confirm wifes name, I can go back and see if its there, its not that far from me. Linda
