Linda,
As per Find A Grave rules, an Uncle is not considered a direct line relation. I also have a few Ungers in my tree and am not sure if he's related yet. Sorry

Are you doing genealogy? With out last names, who are these people? Was HOUGH, Elizabeth's maiden name or her married name?

I am very confused.

Sorry the date came later.

FYI - also quote a source. You never know who's going to need that information. It is very important in genealogy.

Thanks for all you did here.

Hi, I was able to properly calculate this birthdate. It was Jan. 6 1790 (not 1800) Thanks for the heads up, it gave me a chance to work on it a bit. Take care Kim

Please use the edit tab, found in the upper right part of each memorial page.

Once you click edit, when the page pops up click on the suggest a correction link and then type in corrections, additions or requests. This action sends me an email with the monument number and correctly identifies exactly which monument you may have a question or information about. Until I know which Collingwood you wish I have no way of transferring or adding information.

RE: please
I have children of Joseph B Hixson and Emma Myers listed as:
1.) Clayton Elverton 1880-1960
2.) Maude Ethel Hixson (I have a note she died in Kansas)1882-
3.) Beulah Mae Hixson Stange 1884-1960
4.) Charles Hixson 1884-
5.) Jesse Hixson 1888-
6.) Russell W. Hixson 1890-1979
7.) Preston Hixson 1892-1975
8.) Grace Hixson 1892-
9.) Glenn Joseph Hixson 1896-1963. Married Mabel McCachren (2nd wife). Both are buried in Armagh Cemetery, Indiana Co, PA

10.) Joseph G Hixson 1896-
11.) Carl Sherman Hixson 1897-1960
12..) Lucille Hixson 1902
13.) Mildred Hixson Niswonger 1908-1992.

Joseph B Hixson son of David Hixson (1800-3/25/1896) and Elizabeth Hough(7/13/1829-8/20/1900). Both buried in Wesley Chapel cemetery. I have been trying to figure out Elizabeth's parents. I've researched Hough compiled history and can't find a match. I was going to write Westmoreland county courthouse for maybe a prior 1906 death record. Maybe calling Wesley Chapel Church to see if there are any family records also.
David and Elizabeth children were:
1.) Francis Hixson 1846-
2.) John Calvin Hixson 1848-1923
3.) Mary Jane Hixson 1850-1933
4.)Catherine E. Hixson 1853-1938
5.) Joseph B Hixson 1855-1943
6.) James M Hixson 1857-1908
7.) Elizabeth Hixson 1860-1935
8.) David E Hixson 1863-

David Hixson's parents are Joseph Hixson (1757-7/31/1803) and Catherine Akers 4/11/1757-9/3/1849. The big controversy is where Joseph Hixson came from. He was first Hixson in Westmoreland county, but debate is if he was from Trenton, New Jersey or Norfolk, Mass. Catherine Akers- I can't find any further info on. I've been trying to figure out where Joseph and Catherine buried. I suspect Joseph probably buried on farm (2 miles southeast of Mendon) since he died in 1803. Catherine maybe a local cemetery perhaps she hasn't been indexed yet?
Joseph and Catherine children were:
1.) Aron Hixson
2.) Adam Hixson-1785-moved out west
3.) Amos Hixson-1787-moved out west
4.) Joseph Hixson 1797-?. Moved to wayne, OH. Married Annie Dillinger
5.) Moses Hixson 1793-1878. Married Bridget Dugan. They are both buried in Wesley Chapel.Parents of Daniel D. Hixson, Lemuel Hixson, etc.)
6.) Elizabeth Hixson 1797-?. Married Johannes Jacob Everett (1797-1853) Revolutionary War vet.
7.) Abraham O Hixson 1798-1864. Married Mariah Zimmerman 1816-1896. They are both buried in Hoffman Cemetery (Old Brick Church cemetery)outside of Smithton.

Best info I have found on Hixson's has been written by Cy King

My "King" & "Hixson" and Breegle, Dillinger, Silliman families of Pennsylvania and Ohio, also the McReynolds of Virginia, Indiana /
compiled and written by Cy Richard King.

I still don't understand. I tried looking up some of the names and cannot find them anywhere on Find A Grave. Can you recheck? Go to each meorial page, click tab to send an Edit Message that will include the memorial number for each person you are trying to ask me to do something with. Sorry, I just don't know exactly what you want.
