|Martha Brinkley Berry||RE: John Mittag|
Thanks, Cathie! I have really been burning the midnight oil on the Mittag and McKenna families! Trying to link up siblings and families on Find A Grave. You and I had met a crossed of months back on Newspapers.com and then I contacted you thru Ancestry.
If you have anything info on William McKenna Mittag, I have some real "holes" in his story:) especially his date and place of death. He is my sons' direct ancestor thru their father. Still hoping to hear from your friend who is a descendant!

|William Ghent||Melita Sistare|
I've update Melita Sistare memorial with full name and linked to father but could not find Dora Crenshaw memorial. Did some research . Looks like she died before 1920. She would have been the mother of Lewis Perry as well as Melita and infant Faris. Also found another son Yates Alexander Stogner Buried at Union UMC Church. He was the son of Barkley and Fonnie Carnes per death certificate. I send message to contributor to add the parents.
I appreciate the research you've done on the Ghent line. I still have many unanswered question . Still hope we can get together to compare notes. Maybe summer time. Let me know if there will be another reunion.

You posted a photo for the grave of Edward Gibson at Memorial Park. Would you have any connections with his family? I have a WWII letter that an Edward Gibson wrote to my mother in Lancaster 15 Oct 1943 and wanted to see if it might be this same guy.

My bad. Thanks for catching that. I recall when I did that it was somewhat confusing. I did add a photo to the mother. Make sure everything is correct now.

Thank you for this lovely photo of Lizzie's grave. I've been working on this distant family line, trying to piece everyone together. Do you mind if I use this on my family tree?

Cathie, I have lost Melody's email address and need to ask her question, can you please send? It is not genealogy related. Or ask her to contact me email@example.com? Thank you kindly, Barb

Thanks to all for gathering all the information.
My great grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Johnson.
however on his death cert it listed "William" Johnson as Father with Margaret Clanton as mother.
This certainly helped me out!
My Grandfather was Thomas Sidney, and Robert was my Father. All of Pineville.

|Richard Jordan||John Coleman McManus|
Hessie Baker McManus cannot be John's mother for she died 13 years before he was born. It appears old EJ was married 3 times: 1. Hessie Baker (abt 1924-1932) 2. Etta McManus (??) 3. Maude Givens.
My wife's grandparents Vernon and Cora McManus are buried there also. I know there are Catoes in her family could your family and hers be linked?

I deleted my memorials and added the grave picture to your memorials. Did you notice that on William's stone, it has him dying in 1935? I have found numerous differences in date on tombstones and dates in death cert. I would think that the death cert. would be the correct date.
