Took care of your request after doing some research on it. I have a subscription to newspapers.com and was able to look up the article in the newspaper, which was written, the day it occurred. How horrible for her to have died in such a way. I did a little editing of the birth and death information based on information I obtained in Illinois Death Records and also added a bio. Please review it and if you would like me to make any changes or additions please let me know.

RE: thank you
Do you live in that area? My grandmother was a Green (maiden name) my last trip to their grave you go through Steelville, Cherryville, then Davisville, Missouri. There is a Y on the road to their Cemetary between Cherryville and Davisville. I made the right instead of bearing left. Went all the way to the end of the road and realized I had done wrong. There is a very old cemetery there. And a lot of Green's. But I would not have known it then. Had never heard of it.
Here is some trivia that is not up to date but interesting background you may find helpful.
Almost everyone in Crawford County was either a Green,Baker or Pyatt. It seemed that way.
From what I remember the two babies that died were buried there in the cemetery too. Not 100% sure. I probably made my final trip there in 2000. I am 62 in the first stage of Dementia. I try to pick my brain. I do know the first baby that died was supposed to have been exhumed and moved to be with their parents. the other one was buried in the cemetery before them. Thank you again

You placed a picture of my grandparents Esco and Eula Pyatt head stone. I am their first born granddaughter and had begged the church that owns the cemetery to please take a picture. I am disabled now and can't travel back to missouri and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks & Duplicate Memorial for James Merseal
Scott, thanks for updating memorial # 120558183 with the bio of James Merseal I sent you via the edit function. James was a first cousin of my dad. I noticed that there is duplicate memorial for James, # 25078351, which was created by a member who is now inactive. You actually posted a picture on that page of the military marker for James, which you could also include on the memorial you manage. I was wondering if you had sent e-mail to info@findagrave.com to request the memorial created by the inactive member be merged with yours, so there would be only one memorial with you as the owner.

Holdmans
So sorry for the delay; I have been internet-free for the past few days. I have updated the memorials for Lee & Freida Holdman and also the survey I created for Aiken Memorial to reflect all of this information. I am not related, so I transferred their memorials to you, as well. :) Please don't hesitate to add information to or request transfers for any of the other memorials I have created there. Thanks and have a great day!

My apologies for not responding sooner. However I am trying to get back on the "genealogy horse" again!
Thank you for the information on Frances Edith (Hermann) Radle and the additional headstone photos.
I truly appreciate your time and effort in helping those of us who are unable to travel. All the best and thanks again - JoAnne

Ruth Harris Carver
RE: Eaton & Harris
Hi Scott,
Thank you for taking the time to send this information. Eugene Harris was my father, known as Pete. We are related to the descendants of Gary Joplin but I found no blood relation to his ancestors unless I am missing something in the Joplin/Yates connection. It appears to me that we have mutual relatives but we are not by blood related. Please let me know if I missed something. Thanks much.
