RE: Adding Parents
Phil,

I thought you might like to manage your relative so I have transferred her to you.

Best Regards,

Anna

RE: Chester Pence
Phil,

I've seen it done before, but can you explain to me how to add a child to the parents? I was looking around the other day and seen where it looked like I did it before and I sure don't remember at all how to do it. When I click edit or what ever it only shows about adding a spouse.

Thank You,

Theresa

If you'd care to add it, the parents of Chester Pence (15365856) were Linus Oliver (66528157) and Bertha (Denton) Pence (66528345),

Hester Pence in Dogwood Cemetery
Hi,

You show Hester as the daughter of George L. and Sarah J. Pence, but I can't find Hester on the 1900, 1910 or 1920 census. The youngest daughter looks to be as Lilly Maud Pence born 1901.
Can you tell me where the info for Hester comes from? I just want to get everything right on my connections. Thank You so much.

Surprise! Hope you enjoy linking the rest of your family together. I'd read that you were looking for Noah's memorial. God bless!

What a tragedy for the young man and his family, thank you for telling me about him. I've forwarded the link to another cousin, she does a great job organizing information and making family notebooks.

My son checked the computer and couldn't find any reason why I'm not receiving your e-mails. I'm sure sorry, Darla

Hi Phil
Thank you, I have made the correction. I need to get some info on your family so please email me, my email address is on find-a-grave. I will try to find your great uncle when I have some time to do some hunting.

Gremlins?
I am not receiving any messages from you by e-mail. I've checked the address on Find A Grave, it's correct. My computer tech, aka my son, has sent me an e-mail using the Find A Grave link, it worked. I've received other e-mail today with no problem. Nothing was sent to my "junk file".

I agree that information on living family doesn't need to be public. If we had contacts in common, would that help? I've written to Jeannie in TX, another cousin, AC.. in OH, not on Find A Grave, has written to Annie M. B. after Arthur's recent passing.

Maybe we should let the system repair itself and a new day will bring better results. Thanks for the LOL, I use Grrrr, frequently. :) Darla

Good Grief!
Either messages go missing or arrive in duplicate! Apparently the first one was in the system when I tried again. Sorry

missing messages?
I have received only the one Find A Grave message re: Jason. Did you send another by e-mail or through Find A Grave? E-mail is fine with me, unless messages aren't being delivered! Thanks!

Hello again, Thanks so much for letting me know about the new pictures, and I corrected the spelling for son Geary. I've saved the photos for our family record books, every photo and bit of information means a lot to us. Thanks, Darla

Thank you Phil for adding the military photo of Mr. Hunt. One of our KY cousins noticed it today. We'd love to know information about him and his family, there was very little in Great-Grandmother's belongings. That one picture was all we found. Thanks, Darla

I added the link to his father. If you know what state the mother died in you could contact the Dept. of Vital Statistics of that state and request a death certificate and those sometimes have where they were buried. Also if you know when and where she died you can contact the local newspaper or historical society and they can look for info on her. They do charge for it tho.

I have added the information that you provided. It is nice to get a fuller understanding of a person that you never got to meet.
