|C. Bryan||RE: Kenneth Gibbons cemetery photo|
Yes, the photo does not show the giant tree right next to the grave, but the huge statue of David, by da Vinci, is west - and has his back to Ken. That section is very confusing to negotiate without a detailed map (which the office does not provide). So I gave you some landmarks to go by if you want to visit. Best - cb

Chris will xfer without a problem. That marker has a blotch of some chemical splashed over it. I cleaned it of dirt and leaves, but it gets covered quickly because it's right under a huge eucalyptus tree. Glad you are pleased, though. Best - cb

|Chuck||RE: Mary J. Fleming #62461337|
I'm not quite sure what I can do to assist you with Mary's parents. It is unfortunate that Kent has dropped off the map after many years of working with Find A Grave. My only suggestion would be to contact Find A Grave and ask them to create the links that you need. I think that with Kent having been apparently banished from Find A Grave, your only contact for his pages would be the administrators of Find A Grave itself. Their contact information is available in the frequently asked questions section.
If there is something else that I can help you with, please let me know.

Thank YOU for clarifying her date and who she was. I always like to be able to identify a person since I don't like to guess at it. I'm also keeping a transcription and the photos for the local historical society on CD so they will also be appreciative when I give it to them.

Hi Dorothy, Thanks so much for your quick reply. I believe that Robert Wales (the son of Jesse Saunders (Wales) and James Bartlet Wales) is my fathers birth father. I am so very interested in further info you have about the Wales family especially the photo's. I am hoping someone has a photo of Robert born 1867. Are you willing to share the Wales photo's you have. I am unable to reach you thru the e'mail address you have posted (it comes back undeliverable)is there another way to communicate other than thru the public message? Thanks so much Linda

I am researching James Bartlet Wales & Jesse Wales for my family tree and was very pleased to find the information you submitted. I am new to the site so am unfamiliar with where the information provided is obtained. I am very interested in getting in touch with the person who provided the Wales & Saunders info. Thanks so much. Linda

|JW Tiffin||RE: Saunders family|
Thanks for the death dates which I did not have. They were actually married 21 Jun 1911 per Ontario Marriage Register. I don't have any information on their children's birth dates. As far as I know they had 4 children: Jim, William, Geraldine & Keith. The only one that I know to have married was Geraldine who at some point married William Church about whom I also know nothing. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. As you will have seen from my web site no information is shown for living people. My email is on my web site if you want to correspond directly.

I notice that you are the maintainer on the memorial page for several members of the Saunders family and with a last name of Kennedy I assume you are related to them. Alexander Saunders and Geraldine Cressman happen to be in my tree as the parents of Charles Kennedy Saunders who married into the Tiffin tree. You can find my tree at http://www3.telus.net/jtiffingenealogy

I haven't forgotten about the other graves you would like photos of but I would like to ask that you photo request them whenever you have a chance. It would save the possibility of me not getting the ones you were after.

I have added the photos to your memorials. If you are interested the gps co-ords for that stone are 43.729667, -81.681533.
I also created a memorial for Geraldine and transfered it to you.
The other names Walter Saunders 1889-1961, married to Jean Louise 1893-1985; Frank Saunders 1885-1983 married to Abigail 1895-1975 and Josie Geraldine 1891-1969. The gps for these graves is 43.729667, -81.68000. These 3 are side by side.
If these are of interest to you feel free to create the memorials and I will add the photos.
Also, at some point this summer I will be able to get the rest of your requests for Arthur ON. I am in that area a few times a year.
If you need anything else feel free to drop me a line.

I have the photos for you photo requests but I am having a little issue at the moment with getting them to their pages. I will have this worked out shortly.
I also have some other graves from there that might be of interest to you.
On the same stone as James and Catherine there is a Geraldine (Cressman) and Alexander Saunders. Given the DOB's I am assuming he is their son.
I also found 3 other Saunder graves together in another area. One is the daughter of Alex and Geraldine and the others I am assuming on DOBs are sons of Alex and Geraldine.
If these graves are of any interest to you let me know and I will pass on the information to you.

|Hultquist, Jack||Durbin/Ulrey - Dudgeon|
Many of the Dudgeons that moved to Iowa had descendants move to Nebraska. If you need help I can help with the Nebraska Dudgeons.
I have added some Ulrey information to Edward Ulrey of California. Edwards half brother was Ambrose Durbin of Competine, Wapello County, Iowa. If you have not I think you or other genealogists from Knox County,Ohio would want to read an 1853 Christmas Day letter Ambrose received from David Rolston/Ralston. As you read that letter you should see the following Knox Co. Ohio families listed: ADRIAN or EDRION, ASHBURN, BAXTER, BEBOUT, BELL, BOWMAN, BURKHOLDER, DUDGEON or DUGGEON, DURBIN, ELLIOT, FAWCETT, HARROD, HORN, KEMERY, LEPLEY, LYBARGER, PORTER, RIGHTMIRE, ROLSTON, SCHOOLER, TRACY, ULERY, VEACH, WHITE, and WOLF.
The letter is posted on findagrave with Ambrose Durbin, Competine Cemetery, Wapello County, Iowa.
