Becky, I wonder what your source for the mother of Cornelius is? The family have her name as "Deala Rutling." Somewhat close, and the woman spent her life as a slave so there would be little data written down about her. The more reason to coordinate what is known. Thank you.

|Devil Kitty Designs||J W Mauldin|
I received your edit request for the name change for the memorial of J W Everett Mauldin. I initially declined it, but went ahead and made the change after doing some searching.
As of yet I have been unable to find a birth record for this man. I did find his marriage record, which gives his name as J. W. Everett Mauldin. His death certificate gives his name as Everett Johnnie Mauldin, and his headstone reads "J. W. Everett Mauldin." Another record gives his name as John (or Johnny) William Everett Mauldin.
If you have any additional information you can provide me with that will help pin down the actual legally given name of this man, I would greatly appreciate it. I think, given the other records I have found, that he went by "Everett" most of his life, so I included it in the nickname field as you requested.

I am wondering if there is a corresponding grave near Anna Tidwell Kirby's grave, Mem. number:8453594 with her husband's name, Everett Kirby, and "Father" carved on the stone? I do not have his vital statistics, but they would be near to the same as Mrs. Kirbys.

|Barnard/OConnor/Wolford||Michams at Woodlawn Cemetery|
Greetings! I was at the cemetery today looking for the photo request for infant Micham. I took a photo of the entire family plot and uploaded it, as the infant did not have a personal marker. However, there are several other family members buried in this plot including:
Riley, Sadora, her parents Steven & Lois TenEyck, Guy & Johanna Micham, and a couple of TenEyck children. There are two stones that beside these that are identical in style but I don't know if they are related - Hans & Alma Rasmussen. I will upload all the photos this weekend, as I noticed that a few of these folks are listed as "Burial Unknown" on F-A-G. If you have info. on the extended family, the two TenEyck children on the double stone have unreadable first names. The info. that I can make out include:
Stone 1 - died 7/1/1849, 2 days old(??) & Stone 2 - died 8/16/1848, age 9 months, 3 days (??). Thanks, Pamela

|Gary E Gray||William Thomas Bowen|
Do you know anything about William Thomas Bowen's parents? William's first son was named Thomas Jefferson Bowen and it could be possible that William named his first son after his own father. This is just a theory of course.

|Edith (Watson) Marks||RE: Moses Knox Rogers|
The birthdate on the stone is 1864, Moses didn't marry Mary E. Morelock (not Wooselock) until 1872. Moses had a daughter named Belle born abt 1864 on the 1870 census and abt 1865 on the 1880 census but he also had a daughter named Mary born abt 1869 on both census. I can't image they would name 2 daughters Mary. Also the stone says Mary R B. We may never get it straightened out, the only person I know that could have told me died last year, he was a grandson of James T. Frazier.

Is there no headstone for him? I have just begun researching this family (my cousin's wife's ancestors) so I just wanted to verify the accuracy of the information that was listed. I will try and locate a birth record for him.

On Memorial #9915546 you have his year of birth listed as 1904 but the obituary says 1906. Is the obituary wrong or is there a typo?

|Claire||Joseph Collie Anderson|
Hi Cousin Becky,
Found a census record for Joseph and "Elor" Anderson, apparently brother and sister in 1870 Calhoun County (page 5 Chambersville, Caswell, Calhoun, Arkansas). They are not listed with their parents but with the Colvert family. On Joseph's memorial (#22639135) you have a note that he your grandfather, so I was wondering if you could tell me who his parents were and if/how they were related to the colverts.
