|Barb S||RE: Burton Headstone|
As you can see the headstone has fallen and is broken. This is a very old cemetery, but the township does keep it up.

I am working on Old Wells.. I have the idea Rachel may still be there.. The children or most of them were moved to Chrystal...As long as I have been doing family research I have always hear of problems with this cemetery...I went up to get one thing figured out and to see how bad things were and found a very bad mess...Once I have the rest of the photos of this cemetery done you will see a lot of damage...I kind of have stirred up a hornet's nest over this but I ran into the problems when I did Chrystal and made sure I had all the info correctly.. It was a beautiful monument before it was damaged and the bodies moved...I plan on going back to Chrystal and taking photos of the area where the bodies from Old Wells were placed...Chris

Cathy, I'm glad you liked them. In the Burton family plot there was one other headstone, for Zella (Burton) Conklin. I photographed it as well and added it to her memorial page. I thought you might like to know since she doesn't appear in a search for Burtons in the cemetery.

|Jeannine (Booton) Hall||Lindsey/McCoy|
What are you looking for? My grandmother was a McCoy and Lindsey Moses McCoy is in my direct line. You can find him on Find A Grave by starting on my home page and clicking on Helen Booton. Her mother - the McCoy - was my grandmother. If Lindsey is the one you are looking for you can find him by following the links. If this is not the one you are looking for let me know as I have a lot of McCoy information after doing collaborations with other McCoy's.

|Pamela Sponsler||Hazel Creek Union Cemetery|
Could you please e-mail me? I live near the Hazel Creek Union Cemetery and have several family members buried there. I have wandered through the cemetery and my mom is on the board. We have created a map of the cemetery but have never heard of the person you are requesting a photo of their tombstone. We want to try to help but need more information,

I took a close-up photo this time to see if I cd get around the faded look of the bronze. The photo came out better than the first. I'm not completely happy with it, but it's the best I can do. I removed the first photo.

It's showering here, but that may help bring out the etching. I'll try again tomorrow. I've never seen bronze as "bleached" out as this.

I posted the photo of Jacob's marker just now. It's very light because for some reason the bronze has faded significantly. I tried darkening it using my photo program, but making it even a little darker made it more difficult to read. It's cloudy here today because we're expecting rain tonight. I'll trying taking another photo with a flash and see if that helps.

It's great to hear from a long lost cousin! Anders & Anna Jensen are also my great-great grandparents. I'm related to them through their daughter Carrie Marie Christina Jensen. Which sibling are you descended from? As far as our line has known, there are very few if any Jensen's left, so it's really wonderful to hear from you!
I would be happy to explain what I know thus far about Anders and Anna. Just let me know what questions you have, and we can start from there!
Hope to hear from you soon.

|sherjstone||Claire Campbell Griffith|
Sorry it took so long to get this one done! She is buried in the Campbell plot with several others. Are you interested in my sending all of the photos to you, or just Claire's? the names are listed in the caption for the plot photo added to her memorial.

|Steve Seim||RE: Schweiger Family|
You're welcome. If you haven't done so already, check Clara's page again. I was able to get information from Bob Mittlestadt that she's buried next to Joseph and Theresa, though there is no marker.

I don't know for sure but:
According to the Danvers Preservation Commission and the USGenWeb projects, it seems like there aren't stones for the Kinneys. According to the transcription that was done, the earliest legible marker is that of John Putnam (d. 1662). So perhaps there were stones at one time. Here is the transcription of the Wadsworth Cemetery:

I am going to try to attempt to find Any Kinney markers I can, most likely tomorrow. Those are very early markers, so they may no longer remain; but I'll take a look. This is less than a mile from my home, I have been there before fulfilling a separate request.

Sorry cathy, I do not have any additional information on Lucy's parents. I only have her information because of the Jackson family connection to the Finley family. Theresa

|Peggy Bargen Duey||McCoy headstones|
The three McCoy photo requests that you requested in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE are unmarked. However, the cemetery index states the following:
Henry S. McCoy = burial location: Section EC, Row 12, Space 9
Nova Z. McCoy = burial location: Section EC, Row 12, Space 8
Jesse McCoy = burial location: Section EC, Row 12, Space 7
My husband witched the area and there are three graves in that area.

|Karen Butcher Worrell||Temp Tuthill|
I was also able to get a picture of Temperance Tuthill's stone today. I'm afraid the stone is in bad shape and is laying down in the ground. The grass was kind of high and the sun was in the wrong spot making shadows so if you want me to try again another day I will.
