Hi Lesli,
I couldn't figure out a way to share the photo with Anna. The only way I could add a photo for Anna was to upload a photo from my computer and I no longer have that photo in my computer. Sorry. Becky

I have several family photos of the Zimmermans if you are interested. I could email them to you. Could you perhaps send me the links of the things you talked about?

RE: Cora Campbell Kincaid
When I went into Find A Grave in March of 2011 there was a memorial for Cora No. 24540983 in Sunny Slope with a detailed obit for her.
I printed out the memorial with the obit.
Now the memorial no. doesn't come up which is weird. Thought maybe you would like the obit. I can send it to you via e-mail. Will need your e-mail address.

RE: John Ferrell
Yes, Perryton Cemetery, originally Elizabethtown. John Ferrell's name has been listed on the military veterans records for the cemetery, for many years. (Way before computer records.) This information has been added to, as the years go on. He is one "of-a-few" names, that we have reason to believe are buried at Perryton, but there isn't a marker. I have his name listed on the cemetery records as "location unknown". Someone many years ago must have had reason to add his name, I'm sure they didn't get the information from the internet!

I also know from my research that his name doesn't show any records that lead to Perryton Cemetery. I've tried to connect him to other family names within the cemetery, with no luck.

If you know someone he is related to, I would be like to know their name. I have the burial records for all of the cemeteries in Perry Township, if I can help you in any way, please let me know.

Cathy Case Muntz
Grave Markings
Hi, Lesli!

I was happy to help with the Martin photos. Several months ago, a long-time friend asked me to photo document a lost cemetery. I knew I would learn from her, as she has been doing genealogy for 30 years or more. My greatest lesson from Charline was to use flour in a knee-high hose and tied at the top. Rub the flour hose over the engraving on the stone, and the words pop out amazing well. Rubbing your hand over the words after the flour makes it even better. Stones you can't read at all are suddenly very, very legible. This method is especially good on stones that are laying flat on the ground. And it doesn't damage the stone. I hope this help. Charline and I found 90 of the 100 people buried in Richland Cemetery using this method. Keep up the good work on Find A Grave.

Lesli;
You are more than welcome. And yes I am related to
Charles Glenn PIERSON whom your husband remembers. He was my pateral 3rd cousin and maternal 4th cousin, once removed.
His ancestors were the only ones in the family to change the surname spelling to the above listed one.
Give me a few more days, maybe a week, and I will gladly transfer the rest of your husband's McCully relatives from the Green City Cem to your account if you like.

RE: Paul Frieden
I did not see Paul. I took pictures of a few other Friedens though. I will post them tonight. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I had fun going out to look for them. My great grandparents Elias and Mary Somerhalder are burried right next to several of the Friedens, so they weren't hard to find. I will be up that way again on Memorial Day. I will take a look for Paul when I go. I did not find the Kiefers you were looking for, but I found Albert and Josephine Kiefer. I will post them later as well. Are they relatives of yours?

I have several requests down in that area. Didn't know there were so many cemeteries located in such a small area. But I will try to get it for you when I get back down that way. Did you need any of the others from the list?
