 | RE: Rust/Young/Stone Memorials Still having trouble finding Gage, Mountview has no record of him being buried there either. Could he be under any other names. I have tried Weist and Lee and Lee-Weist and there is nothing in their records for any of those names.Added by Jim Carnathan on Feb 06, 2013 8:56 PM | |

 | Ashley Rust I have linked him to his mother. Interestingly, his wife Laura was a sister to my neighbor. I knew the family quite well. As I recall, they called Ashley "RUSTY". Correct me if I'm wrong.Added by Lorna Kappel on Feb 02, 2013 9:12 AM | |

 | RE: Matthew Bussell Can't find her in my tree. From all of my research, John Bustle (Matthew's oldest son) was the only one who came to KY.
Frances J "Fannie" Bussell about 1839 TN married John H Haney/Hainey on March 11, 1856 Pulaski Co KY. They had two children-James M Haney/Hainey and Martha E Hainey (1859). John was in the Union during Civil War and died at an army hospital in Louisville KY on January 4, 1865 from pneumonia. Buried on the grounds (you can see pic on this website). Fannie did receive his pension, but it also shows a guardian in charge of the children's pension in 1870- so I guess Fannie died sometime between 1865-1870.
I don't show a child of Matthew Bussell (Rev Patriot) to be named Fannie. He died in 1844 at the age of 88, so I doubt she is the child of Matthew. Matthew had a son named Matthew born around 1819 TN, and she may his daughter named after her grandmother Frances. I don't have any record of this though. you may want to check with the Hawkins Co or Claiborne Co TN records.

 | Matthew Bussell To answer your question, yes I am related to Matthew. My family set his headstone this past July. I am his granddaughter thru his eldest son, John Bustle who lived in Laurel Co KY.
The information I have on his brother Matthew is slim. Born February 14, 1819 and married Luranna Johnston May 24, 1838 in Claiborne Co TNAdded by karen adams on Jan 29, 2013 3:25 PM | |

 | Lola Davis Request When I arrived at the location of Lola's grave, there was no headstone. I came home and did a little research and found that she was the daughter of Buena Vista Ross (there was a headstone for Buena, but I didn't take a very good photo of it, not knowing that that was Lola's mother). Upon checking the cemetery records, I found that both mother and daughter are buried in the same lot. Lola's name does not appear on her mother's headstone and I would presume Lola was cremated and placed with her mother upon her death. I have placed a photo on Lola's memorial that shows her mother's headstone (from a side view) and I have entered text to show they are both buried there. I have also updated the memorial to reflect additional information as to birth and death dates. If you would like me to place a photo of Buena Ross' headstone on her memorial, I will return next week and get a better photo and add text to the additional photo to show them both buried there. Let me know, if you would like me to do that. ChrisAdded by Macso on Jan 20, 2013 5:17 PM | |
