RE: LOUISE VIOLA DONALDSON HEIKKINEN
Hi,
Regarding your request for photos, I'm so sorry I haven't been able to get there for pictures. I used to live nearby but have moved and it's not too close to my present home. Perhaps you could put in a request for the photos at Oak Lawn and someone nearby would be able to get there before really cold weather arrives. I apologize but didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. Dee

Hi,
What a shame that I must have not noticed them on my last trip. I was in the section where most Finns are buried and probably missed it or had already finished for the day. I'm not sure when I'll be getting there again but will try to get those photos for you and email them. Dee

RE: ROSANNA DONALDSON
The Butler Co historical society publshed cemetery surveys in 1983. Their survey shows Rosanna buried in Mt. Varnum. 1/15/1805-2/24/1883. She is not listed in the survey for North Washington.

Re: Fisher & Donaldson
Checked (again) both MES & MAS sections - each has a lot 65 - and no markers were seen. Another person with exceptional knowledge of these areas was present and confirmed findings. Given the date these burials occurred there's no easy answer as to whether there were ever any markers to start with.

RE: DONALDSONS
Joan Shirley says she's in Sec C...no such section exists.
Matthew Donaldson and Mary Fisher could not be found in the MES (Masonic) which is next to the Masonic section - there are 2 sections separated by a roadway. Doesn't mean there's no marker. Could be but those burials were a long time ago. Could be buried in the dirt. They could be in the older Masonic section. Perhaps the office could make a distinction for you?...

Ann Amadori
your photo of Laura B Cannon's grave marker
Someone has requested a photo of the grave marker for Thomas Jackson Cannon, Jr (# 111972814) at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Spotsylvania County.

Would it be ok with you if I uploaded your photo of Laura B Cannon's grave marker at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=107333705 to her husband's memorial at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=111972814 ? It contains both of their names.

Or would you do it?
Ann A.

Hi,

The # is actually 108465541.

I can't figure out where I wrote the 108456541 which I did somewhere!

Sorry and sorry it took so long to get to this.

RE: LEON DIXON
I do have Dixons in my family tree, but I don't think they're related to your wife's. My primary interest on F.A.G. is making sure WWI and WWI casualties and veterans' pages are accurate, particularly if they're from North Carolina I live in Fayetteville).

Maude Donaldson
Just wanted you to know that I was at Glenwood this morning. I looked in Section S, Lot 55, and found only a marker for Maude's husband William Ellsworth. If they are both buried in the same lot, then I'm quite sure that hers is unmarked; there were no other Donaldsons in the area.

Hey - ask and sometimes you get, right? Sorry I couldn't get it any cleaner myself. They do a good job of cleaning it up though and I'll follow it up later to check on it...Fred

You're welcome, John. I must say that, having responded to a lot of requests at Glenwood, a surprising number of graves are not marked. I hope you won't find many of those! Ron

RE: GEORGE EDGAR & MARY T DONALDSON
Addie is definitely on my list for my next visit. Let me know if you'd like to take over management of any of the Donaldson graves since they're your relatives, and I'm happy to transfer them to you.

George Edgar Donaldson
Hello,

I'm the one who just added photos of George Donaldson. I wanted to let you know I also added photos and created a record for the woman I assume is his wife, Mary T. Donaldson. Her record number is # 118977907.

I'm hopping to look for your other request, Addie Donaldson, soon.

Best,

volvoxverte

More Donaldsons :-)
While getting the photos for your 4 requests today, I found 7 more Donaldsons. I took their photos and made memorials for them, then transferred them all to you. Some of the photos aren't too great, but I did the best I could with them. I also linked them as much as I could figure out; I'm sure you can add more.

More Donaldsons :-)
I'm going up to National in the next few days to get your 4 requests up there. If you want to enter their plots now, they are:

Audrey: NM FF-827-3A
Walter: NM S-289-1A
Lena: NM S-289-1B
Raymond NM T-443-2A

As is my practice, I'll look around in the area where each is buried to see if I can find any other relatives for you.

Thanks.

Sue

You're very welcome! I just wanted to let you know that there was a Howard Auterback, Sr buried with some of the Donaldson's. Does that name ring a bell?
