RE: patrick fitzgibbons
I see the ones I put on yours aren't turning when clicked on. I'll try to resize them.

RE: patrick fitzgibbons
Hi, I've tried everything I know to do many times. I don't know why some of the ones I take are doing that. They aren't sideways when you click on them. I'll keep trying to turn them though. :)

RE: cecelia panchot grobe
Charli, thank you SO much! I'm just now exploring my Panchot line, I didn't even know my gpa Grobe's family was from Ste Gen, my mom's family is from Old Mines so I have a ton of ancestors on HER side from there. Thanks so much for all you do to keep memory of them alive!

RE: Peter Panchot
Charli, thanks so much for your reply! Sorry I didn't think to send the link to Cecelia's memorial at

It lists her as buried at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste Genevieve, MO. I found it ironic b/c Cecelia is a gma in my paternal line, and she's buried in a cemetery named after my maternal grandma's family (she was a Valle). Any questions just let me know and many thanks!

Photo Request
This is my first time for making photo requests. Thank you so much for offering to take the photo of (baby) Karen C Denzer at Ft. Lewis. I was concerned about what would happen. To the memorial creator I have written awhile back now twice, within 8 months apart, requesting the transfer of her memorial into my care with no response. My heart is in the right place trying to do the right things for her. My mom had wanted to go out there but her health is preventing this and besides, we were an overall very close military family and it could be upsetting. The baby's mom and my mom were close friends and a mother to me. We have never really gotten past her sudden passing.

If you ever have a moment to access my bio, the baby is under Infant Friends. This is where I begin to tell her story and connect her to her baby sister Christina who died at birth too and connect her to her mom Betty and Frederick (Fritz) as best as I can. Their memorials were ever so graciously transferred into my care. Karen is named after my sister, it is all in her short story. I hope that you find a marker out there. My mom remembers at best, Karen was born and died at birth in the summer of 1964. I don't know if that info helps you.

I decided to look at your photos at Ft. Lewis and found an older marker, Infant Son Haffner. It saddened me but, it was so nicely done. Your photographs are remarkable. The headstones are very respectable looking.

I left a flower for your grandmother. What a beautiful woman and photo. Out of my grandparents I only knew one grandma. She passed away when I was in HS. The grandpa I knew had adopted my mom. I felt closer to the ones I never knew, than to him. I knew my grandparents through some stories and looking at just a few photos and I cherish every bit of it. So I understood the feelings about your grandmother. Except her story is uniquely tragic and she is a true heroine to your family and many. This is why I feel even more passionate about connecting families.

Again Thank You,

pure grace

Rita Fleischmann
Anna Scheibal
I am at the FHC in Tacoma, WA with Dick Kinzner, youngest grandchild of Emil and Anna Scheibal. He will need to set up an email and Findagrave acct, but would eventually like to have these names transferred to him if you are not related. If you are related, he would like to know how, as we are just starting this family history for him. My name is Rita C Fleischmann, and Dick and I are lifelong friends. My current email is, but I am most easily reached on my Elsa Borzoi Facebook acct. His mother, Marie E Kinzner is also buried at Mountain view Garden of Memory. Thank you for taking the time and effort to do this.

RE: Patrick Lyons
Did you read the caption on the photo?

According to to Find a grave FAQ's What if there is no headstone?
Some people fulfill the photo request with photographs of the area where the individual was buried. In the photo's description, please indicate that there is no head stone and give specifics as to where the the grave is - such as right next to the headstone for someone else or to the left of the tree...

Some people further enhance the photograph by:
-Placing one of the following to mark the grave location - flowers, flag, or DAR emblem
-Photographing the area and adding a graphical outline to the photograph to show exactly where the grave is located.
-Do not use computer generated markers.
-Do not post a graphic stating "no gravestone" or similar language.
