RE: Burials in Hartford
Thanks you. No apology needed, there just weren't enough cemeteries to go around.

I'm trying to send you a suggestion, but the F-G email system seems to be broken at the moment. Could you please contact me at ddj@brown.edu

Thank you very much,

RE: Forbes / cain photos
I know photos look different on I pad than on actual site . they are all loaded upside down and cannot be read. Check them out when you get home on a laptop or desk PC.

thanks

Ruth Roberts Lundgren
Hi"

I have a curiosity. There is a marker for Ruth Roberts Lundgren, dates as yours, in the big mausoleum. Any Ideas??
She is interred with Rachael Armstrong Roberts (Who I have added.)

RE: Rose Saltz
I just looked at my edits and saw the problem. The first edit was definitely wrong. I deleted it. I thought the problem was the spelling of the first syllable "Shoen."

Hi,
I am so sorry. I thought I deleted one. The truth is that I'm not sure how it was spelled. It was changed from the German which has those two dots over a letter like the o does in your name.
I will find out for sure and send you a new edit. I will delete the edits I put in.
All the best.
Yours,
Ava

RE: Rosenthal photo / Voloshin
I moved the photos.

Sorry to bother you again, but it is the same location situation with the Bronfins, if you would please move them from Farband to Bnai Jacob also. I took photos of the entire Farband cemetery so I am working on getting the photo count toward 100%. If in doubt I check the New Haven Jewish database at www.yeshivanewhavensynagogue.org/cemetery.asp
although sometimes it too has errors or omissions.
There may be a few others, I will let you know as I come across them.

It the weather holds out I will try to photograph your other entries at Bnai Jacob. If you want to make photo requests that would be helpful

Ferncliff Cemetery records. Suggest you get in touch with them. They could probably help you.

I'd love it, but only if you're not related. I hate to take memorials from others. I may be adding more links, though.

RE: Addie Wiseman
Many thanks for checking. She is in my family line, so I'd like to know where she actually is.

I've found a few things like this before. They list on the death cert. where they were buried, but they were later moved. Sooooo confusing.

Elizabeth Schwartz
Amelia Amanda Dreyfous Danziger
I found this on the website and see that her sibling, or half-sibling, was (Caroline) Alice Dreyfous. Her first name was Caroline but she preferred Alice. She is my great-grandmother, who married Isaac Schwartz, my great-grandfather who came over from Germany as a child. I was excited to see this. I am related to the Dreyfous and Danziger families. Alice Dreyfous Schwartz and Isaac Schwartz had several children, one being Isidore Brunswick Schwartz, my grandfather who married Beatrix Stoll Schwartz. They had two sons, Stanley Schwartz, and my dad, Irwin Albert Schwartz. Thank you for posting this info. It was good to see and will help with the family tree. Elizabeth Schwartz, New Orleans.

I added the picture. They are in Section 19. Herman is also listed on stone. Do you want to add him? Dates are 1851- 1908. I am not related. Thanks. Diane

I noticed you have a memorial for Antoinette Klein Wittenberger. While at Eternal Home cemetery I came across a grave for Antonia Wittenberger 1856 -1930. Herman is also with her. Do you think Antoinette & Antonia could be the same person? Thanks!

Bettencourt/Silva
I notice you created memorials for Manuel and Mary Bettencourt at Fernwood. I am looking for more info. on Mary's mother. Do you have any information on her by chance? I believe her name was Mary Silva. Her husband Joseph Silva is buried at Ferwood as well.

Madeleine Isenberg
RE: Julius Eisenberg
Hi,
No not related. I have been looking for any Eisenbergs/Isenbergs etc., who may have been cohanim. I went through all of the Eisenbergs/Isenbergs/Ajzenbergs/Aizenbergs looking only for the men and anyone that had a tombstone with the Hebrew inscriptions. Most of them were just "Israelites" and a very few were Levites, and the only cohen was my husband's grandfather -- the stone that I uploaded to findagrave!

Maybe someday...

Regards,
Madeleine

Name variation and dupes
Thanks Skane for the message. Yes, I have notes into all the dupes of that one memorial and there were about 10 more dupes of yours I discovered yesterday as well for Fernwood. Sent a note to that person as well, and all but one are gone today. Nice to hear from you again. C.
