Send me your regular email address please. I have a couple of scanned Obits for you and a picture of another plot in Denny cemetery that is assigned to James Chase. The location is quite a ways away from the Headstone that I sent you a picture of.
Thank you
Chuck Davis

I can go to the historical society next Saturday when they are open and do some searching for you. If you send what info you have birth deaths and marriages along with the names Ill see what I can find out. All three graves were side by side and they were listed together. Is it possible that this is not the right James Chase? Do you know the parents names? If you have a closer date of death other than the year I could go through to old newspapers and see what the obit says.
Thank you
email me at so we dont have to work through find a grave.

Yes, I can do that sometime in the next week or two, probably. It's an hour away, but not a problem to go back there again.

Yes, Kerry Rae is a woman. No doubt the Blackstones are buried there, but just can't find a marker for them in that plot. Good that you have the funeral home records to confirm their burial locations. Glad to help look for them.

Did you see the note on his memorial for family member to conact the funeral home? They are looking for closest living family member, in order to buy back unused plots that were sold years ago.

Funeral home record states he died at the hospital. Which was in Colfax.

Thanks for the info Kathy. It is posted. The cemetery records and wood markers were destroyed in 1926 by a wildland fire. We shot pics of every burial record at the funerel home from 1873-1926 in order to piece it back together. Without that funeral home record, we would not have known he is buried there.

Hi Kathy,
I'm not related at all. I have adopted Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, and add memorial pages for people as I learn about them. Most of the graves are photographed now, and if there are no markers, I am trying to add area photos. There are lots of inferior photos that I hope to replace over time. Please let me know if you would like for me to transfer any of the memorial pages I maintain for your friends or family. :)

RE: Henry H. Oldright #156857958
Hi Kathy

I visit Seattle frequently to see a Dr who knows lots about Lyme Disease. When I go there I do some "sight seeing". Adopted a friend of my late mother and she showed me much in her area till she passed.

Thank you for preserving your corner of the world, I am sure all the creatures living there appreciate your efforts.

As for info about Canada, if I do not have the answer for any question I am sure I know someone who does, so ask away

Hello Kathy,

I have made the corrections to Theodore's memorial and have transferred both his and his wife Margaret's memorials to you. I know they are in loving hands by the edit email that was sent to me. I am not related just found that they were not added to the database when I was at Washington Memorial Park one day searching for a loved one for someone here.

Good Luck,
Rob (YankeeGraver)

RE: Maria Willis (Boyle) Ewing #44554615
The final line is "Requiescat in pace," which is Latin for "Rest in peace." I can't quite make out the line above it, though. The first word is "Mulierum," which should translate into something like "of women" in Latin. The next word begins with an "A," but I can't quite read the rest of it. The third word begins with an "s" and ends with an "a." I'm guessing it's something like "Best of women" or something like that.

Sorry--my Latin is over 20 years rusty or I might be able to make it out better!

RE: Dr. William John Oldright #148465358
I got the information we were talking about. There are four more peoole in the Oldright vault: Edith Oldright, a stillborn child of Henry Hooke Oldright,Sarah Elizabeth Oldright Whittemore and Mabel Winifred Oldright Wookey. I have made memorials for Sarah, Winifred and the baby (as well as Henry Hooke Oldright who I learned was interred in Edmonton). There is an existing memorial for an "Unknown Oldright" and I have submitted edit requests to the memorial manager that will convert that to Edith's memorial. I will be happy to transfer any of the memorials I made, if you like.

RE: Infant Son Ermatinger #92203149
Hi Kathy,
Been out all day at the cemetery and just got home. I was unable to find the stone. But with the same death year...maybe she died in childbirth and the infant buried with her?

The stone behind it was so close and so similar, it just seemed like it had to be related. Office was closed today, so I could not ask about it. I'll check back later this week, see if the office can tell me more.

Had hoped to get home and write you a note of explanation before you saw the photos :)

RE: Merrill Frederick Paulson #96769476
Merrill's military marker is mounted on the back of the back of the husband & wife marker.

It was on my list of retakes because I missed taking an individual photo of the military marker the previous trip to the cemetery. I had a wide shot of the back of the Paulsen plot and saw the military marker. Oops!

I can send you more photos through your e-mail if you'd like.

Kathy: I took a screwdriver and poked around in the ground in Lot #729 looking for buried stones. I found a buried stone for Daphen Matilda Fleener 4-729-19 and John Victor Fleener 3-729-19. I could not find any stones for Irene Leonson 1-729-19 or Levi Leonson 2-729-19. I also noticed that Daphen Fleener's maiden name was Partridge. Irene Leonson's maiden name was also Partridge, I would guess that Irene and Daphen were sisters, since they are buried in the same Lot. Anyway no luck on stones for Irene and Levi... Hope this helps...

Meredith stone
We are vacationing in the Forester area I found the Meredith stone ,covered with lots of moss. Difficult to read Abrahams first name but last name, birth and death is visible as well as Martha on other side. One other side is difficult to read, perhaps an inscription, I will send them when we get home. Elaine

Phillips family
Thanks for your message. I am not related to the Phillips. I know that you have your reasons, but all of the information from their markers are included in my memorials. It is redundant to include it a second time.
Thanks, Ann
