RE: Costello Family
Hey cousin, yourself. Sorry this is a bit tardy.

This is pretty exciting for me to find any cousins. I know of only one living Lindsay cousin of any degree; my dad had one brother, and Uncle Harry had one daughter. My grandpa Lindsay had two older sister, all born Belfast, (Orange); one married in Winnipeg, then went back and forth between Canada/US and England where her husband died. The other lived for a time in Toronto. That's all I know.

Mom's brother Henry had eight children (also your first cousins once removed, some of whom I met for the first time in July at their mom's funeral in Black Duck, MN.) The two eldest live in White Bear and So. St. Paul respectively. One sister lives in Black Duck, and the remaining five sibs are in Alaska or the Pacific Northwest.

In November of '09 I connected with Mark Costello and his wife through Ancestry.Com. We exchanged several messages in 2010 but I haven't been able to restablish the link. Grandma's brother John is, I believe, his Grandfather. Another 1st once removed. I hope everything is OK with them.

The only other Costello I've spoken with is Mary Costello, whose wedding I attended over 50 years ago.

My direct email is cmlindsay@tds.net Maybe we need a phone conversation at some point.:o)

Take care and thanks for being in touch.

Costello Family
Greetings Robert,
So glad to find a Costello connection. My GGrandparents are John Jarleth Costello and Bridget Costello, both born in Ireland, married January 24,1883 in St. Paul, and buried in Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul.

My grandmother, Mary Catherine...or Catherine Mary...documents conflict as to which name came first, was the eldest of John and Bridget's seven children. They had two sons, Andrew and John; their daughters were Mary Catherine, Helen/Nel, Elizabeth, and Winnifred. They lived at 560 Burgess St. St. Paul.

Grandma married Henry Dunham McNeil; both are buried in Lakeview Cemetery,Aitkin, MN, where they spent almost all their married life. My mother was Catherine Elizabeth (Betty) and her only sibling Henry Dunham McNeil Jr. All are now deceased, and I'm the eldest of Betty's seven children.

Anyway, it's wonderful to see some additional Costello information. Would love to hear from you. Happy St. Patty's Day.

RE: Lady Elgin Memorial
Hello what I really started out doing was trying to find all the Lady Elgin tombs. I got involved in something else and never got back to it. I know there is another one in Sunnyside Cem., in Meno. Falls, WI. Need to do further research.

2 relatives of mine were on the Lady Elgin
