I changed the name on the memorial to Annie Melson Brown even though I didn't want to. Find a Grave will probably let me know - first time in five years that I have put another name other than what appears on the stone like Find A Grave instructed me. I am keeping your e-mail and will refer them to you if they inquire.

I'm not sure right now where I got the info that Stephen H. Smith was buried there unless it was the third page of a transcription I found in a book - and I seem to have misplaced that 3rd page.
I found Stephen's full dates of birth and death (1805 - 1806) - and that he was Alexander and Sally's child - in a copy of a family bible posted somewhere on line. Not sure where now. The bible is supposed to have originally belonged to Alexander Smith but am pretty sure it was called the Hadley Bible.

the only ones I remember are Odessa, Jack and George. After researching that picture it said it was Samuel and his first wife (Sarah I think) so I don't know where they got that info. I was in Georgia last week to see the Ocoee family that migrated to Georgia! They live close to where Savannah's parents are buried. Next time I'm over there, I'm going to try to see the graves.

Mike, I did some investigating and I found that picture on a family tree for the Coles (Ancestry.com) After going back today, I don't know who it is (Ha!) and I have deleted it. That family tree showed Samuel J. Cole as having two wives. I think they have confused two different Samuel Coles. I am still going over the records you sent back to me.
