RE: Photo of Larry Villafana's grave
You are welcome, there were two other Villafana'a with Larry. Rueben V. Villafana (1948-1993) and Angelina P Villafana (Jan 13, 1924 - Sept 10, 2003) Neither have memorials.

Andrew & Rebecca & Rebecca
It appears the first Rebecca was born a Culler in 1834. The second Rebecca was apparently born about 1834-1836 and married Jacob Culler. Jacob had died by the 1880 census.

Do you by chance know where her husband is buried, since you straightened the names out for me? Thank you.

RE: Elsie O Nottle gravestone photo
No problem. We had a little trouble finding her because the cemetery physical records show her interred into the ground when in fact she is in the moseleum. I also uploaded a few other Nottle's who were next to her.

Hi Alma,
Thank you for the gentle reminder as I thought I had already taken care of the transfer. Things have been going on here, but I try to keep up with requests. I'm glad you will take care of her...Pat

Thank You
Thanks Alma, I appreciate you bringing the typo to my attention. Harmon and Mamie Montgomery are my great grandparents on my moms side. If you are related I have a lot of information on the Montgomery's and related sir names. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Hi Alma,

I can make the changes or I can transfer your niece to you so you can add to her memorial and maintain it. My goal in posting is for families to find their loved ones...Pat

RE: More Olsens
Hi Alma: I've claimed the Olsens. Fairhaven and Santa Ana Cemeteries join each other. There are 3 areas of crypts at Fairhaven, but the office will be able to tell me where they are. Hopefully, I'll get the photos next week sometime. Chris

Thanks...if there's anything I can help you with in your research from here on the main land let me know. I live in NH...still trying to get over the jet lag. I'm also on ancestry.com. I've still got 2 cousins that live tin Maui, but I haven't seen them in over 50 years although I keep in touch with one of them...who knows you might know him.

Thanks you so very much for the picture of my uncle's stone. I went to Oahu for the last 2 weeks hoping to get to Maui but because of the weather and the cost was unable to do so...thank you so much for completing this task for me...I truly appreciate your time you devote to Find A Grave

Hi Alma: I took the photo of Alma's grave today, but somehow I when I was editing the photo it was replaced by another and it disappeared. Not sure how I did that. I have uploaded the long range shot of Jonelle's grave (I thought you might want to see the area since you were unable to make the funeral). I will go back in the very near future to retake the closeup of her grave. So sorry that I messed up. Chris

Duplicate memorials
Do you realize that you can delete a memorial that you manage using the link at the upper right of a memorial and to the right of "Transfer Management" "Edit" "Delete" Just click on the Delete button and then I think it asks if you want to delete the memorial and then just OK that.

Walter Buchanan
FYI - The inactive contributor of this memorial must have transferred it to you when you made an inquiry about the memorial. I had another contributor transfer a memorial to me recently after I sent some info about one of his memorials. I asked him why he transferred the memorial and he said that he always does as he assumed that I was related!

I was in Honolulu three years ago and photographed Oahu Cemetery. It is a wonderful cemetery and so interesting. I wish more people would photograph the Hawaiian cemeteries as there is so much history there:)

I too had gotten my information from the articles about Black's Graveyard but I missed adding the part about the other children so I added that to Walter's memorial and I also added the transcription of the will that you sent as I feel that it is him. Walter's headstone has a date of death of 1780 and his will is dated 1786. The writer of the articles about Black's Graveyard felt that his headstone was engraved again after it was moved from Black's Graveyard so perhaps he died in 1786.

Thanks for the information. The map on Walter's memorial was done by another woman who was very helpful to me. She also took the photos of the graves.

Walter Buchanan #66391867
Thanks for the message. The information in this will sounds like it could be the Walter Buchanan that I manage. I am not related to Walter but I have a grandmother, Elizabeth (Buchanan) Lesley/Leslie (born circa 1730 in Lancaster, Penn. and died circa 1786 in Montgomery Co., Virginia), who I thought might be Walter and Mary Buchanan's daughter as there were 50+ family trees on Ancestry.com that said Walter and Mary (Rhoney) Buchanan were my grandmother's parents. I realized that Walter and Mary's daughter, Elizabeth, was not my grandmother, but decided to put all of the information that I had found onto their family memorials in the hopes that it would help others. I also contacted all of the people on Ancestry.com who had Walter and Mary as my grandmother's parents and told them what I had found. Only one woman replied and she said that she knew that I was correct but she just hadn't corrected her family tree and something about a lawsuit to collect the estate of Walter (I think this is what she said) and that apparently is why so many folks hoped they were related to Walter.

I have not seen Walter Buchanan's will that you sent to me. Can you tell me where you found the will and did you find it online? Was it in the York County Probate Records? It sounds like it could be the same person but would like a little more information.

Thanks.
Pam R.
