transfer please
Hi Gary, I think you've helped me before. Could I please get the transfer for the following memorial. She was my Great-aunt, I was with her when she died. I'm glad to see there is a memorial & flowers for her.

Chuck Ylsworth, 79395199
Hello Gary,
The first letter in Chuck's last name came unglued from the crypt and the staff hasn't replaced it yet. It should read "Aylsworth."

I found the following information regarding him:

The Oregonian, Portland, Oregon, January 14, 1982, Funeral Notice:
AYLSWORTH--Clarence C., of Portland; brother of Eleanor M. Sites; uncle of Laurence E. Sites. Services 1 pm Friday, Jacobson-Cascade Funeral Home, 9775 SE Mt Scott blvd. Lifetime member, Hilo, Hawaii Elks Club.

Oregon, Death Index, 1898-2008
Name: Clarence Cha Aylsworth
Age: 58
Birth Date: 6 Dec. 1923
Death Date: 13 Jan. 1982
Death Place: Clackamas [County]
Certificate: 82-00104

1930 US Federal Census, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
Charlie R. Aylsworth, Head, age 66, Married, born in Illinois, father born in Rhode Island, mother born in USA, Bookkeeper and Manager, Fuel Company.
His wife was listed as Nanna M. Alysworth, age 39, born in Norway.

His middle name was probably Charles and he was called Chuck.

John Blowers
Hi Gary

Could you add this obituary, yours had a lot of missed spelled words.

Thanks you

John Wesley Blowers, 79 March 18, 1933 Jan. 11, 2013 John died Jan. 11 in Longview, Wash. He was born in Portland to Norval and Lucille Blowers and was a life-long resident. John attended Joseph Lane Grade School and Benson Tech. In 1949, he won the Oregonian's "Young Writers Award". John initially drove buses for Rose City Transit. He was later employed in grocery warehousing with Hudson House, Wadams and Flemming Foods. John was a big fan of Johnny Cash and Portland Beaver baseball. John is survived by his ex-wife, Rachael; brother, David; sons, Laurence and Lloyd; grandsons, Curtis, Stephen and Brett; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Genesis and Kylie; nieces, Calina and Leslie; and daughter-in-law, Aileen. He was preceded in death by his brother Norval Jr. Interment will be at Wilhelm Portland Memorial with no service per John's wishes. His outgoing, very honest personality will be missed.

Thanks so much for adding this headstone. Ray and Marie Baylink were my ex's grandparents. I did add a correction for Marie's year of death which was taken from a certified copy of her death certificate. Will also add additional details for Ray. Bea

Elmer J. Hedler and his father, Johann Hedler
Hi, I found Elmer J. Hedler (1910-1988), but am looking for his father, Johann Hedler, who I think died 17 Feb 1937 or 1938 in Portland, Oregon. Would you know how to find his father's (Johann) grave? I noticed two other Hedlers buried in Portland, another in Lincoln Memorial Park, where Elmer is buried: Mamie G. Hedler (1887- 1982) and I wondered if that was his mother. The other person was John H. Hedler (1924 - 1991). I don't know if he is related to Elmer.

That's awesome information! I'm just getting started and decided to do the michaels first since they're the side I know the least about. I'd always been told we were German but didn't know when the family came over. I truly appreciate this info.
If you have any suggestions on researching family history I'd love any tips you have.

I was researching some of my ancestors and came upon Daniel T. Michael. I saw that you had posted some information on him and his wife, Elizabeth. I wondered if you had any information on his parents, Henry and Christina (Karges) or her parents.

Kellum, Earl and Ada
I am not sure who you are but I just searched on here for my grandparents, Earl and Ada. Thank you, so much, for posting a picture of their plot. I have been to Memorial Gardens to look for it and have never been able to locate it. It was a shock to see but I so appreciate you taking the time to take the photo.

I'm not sure how you would do it but my Mother (Donna R. Kellum) and Brother (Robert E. Petersen) are buried at Memorial Gardens, also. I have photos of their name plaques on their pictures. Is there a way to link them to my grandparents?

Ok, now we have a mystery. Albert F Spalding is one of the 5 supposedly in the Spalding plot in section D. I took a (bad) picture of his headstone - but I know there are no Spaldings there - therefore his headstone is somewhere else, and perhaps the others are with him, the plot thickens. It will be another couple of weeks before I start on the 2000+ mysteries, but the Spa(u)ldings just hit the top of that list.

She is in Section D, plot 671. At the moment we have 4 feet of snow on the ground. So we're looking at March or April before anybody will be able to find her.

Willie Trotman Witter
Gary.. Willie Trotman Witter was my great aunt. She married Willis Witter after her first husband Ira Burnett died. She was my mothers aunt. My mothers mother was Lennie May Trotman. Willie's father was Charles Henry Trotman he is burried in Green hill Cemetery in Titus Co. Texas. There is no headstone that I have been able to come up with but his death certificate states he was burried there . his link number is 137173917 if you link Willie with her father that would be great. I linked Lennie May Trotman to her father. I am trying to get as many of his children linked to him. I know one of his daughters Myrtle who married a Hancock died in Alabama. Trying to get her linked.

re: Charles Stickler

I'm searching for a Glenna Stickler, died 1951, and was married to a Charles Stickler in Oregon.

#67868342 seems to fit the time era. If you make it to the Lincoln cemetery again, would you be kind enough to browse around to see if Glenna is buried nearby or is listed in the cemetery. Thanks a lot for your time and effort.
