|Brad Manzenberger||Found it|
I found it, under the broken marble marker and about an inch under ground in the middle of the grave. Odd place for a marker.

Hi Steve, I noticed the pic of the military marker for James R. Featherngill. I have been in Forsyth-Featherngill Cemetery dozens of times and have never seen that particular marker. Can you tell me where in the cemetery it is located? I am currently contracted by the trustee for preservation work there and would like to make sure this is included in the project. Thanks.

|Gaye Hill||RE: duplication?|
Wow, those name spellings. I see three different spellings. I did not intentionally make a duplication, but could not tell at the time.
I sent you an EDIT request onto your memorial for him to add the obituary information and I erased the spouse link.
I'll check back and delete the duplication.
Thanks for the heads up, best of luck in your research.

This memorial page of David Forsythe is a duplicate of one created in 2009 and should be deleted.
You sent me this, but I have searched and cannot find a duplication. Do you have the memorial number?

Hi Steve -
Drop me a line with your email address when you get a chance, I found a long-lost old family photo last night, hopefully this is one you don't already have a copy of - looks to me like a Branigin family gathering circa 1906, Verne is prominent in this one, I am thinking this may have been when he was leaving Indiana for Washington. I have the image scanned as a jpeg and as a 600DPI archival TIFF.

I just called them the day I posted the request. They didn't say anything about 'baby land'. I'll call them again.

STEVE, AS I SUSPECTED, IF THIS IS INDEED YOUR ELLEN, NO INFORMATION IS CONTAINED ON THE STONE. SHE IS BURIED IN THE GARSHWILER PLOT, BUT NOTHING IDENTIFIES HER AS A BRANIGIN. I TOOK OTHER PHOTOS IN THE PLOT, INCLUDING THE LARGE GARSHWILER STONE. IF YOU WANT ME TO PUT IT UP, LET ME KNOW. I ALSO GOT A PHOTO FOR HER SISTER. MARK

I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO IT, STEVE, BUT DID YOU NOTICE THAT THE NAME ON THE STONE IS SUPPOSEDLY GARSHWILER, OR IS THIS A MISTAKE? I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY BEEN THERE YET TO SEE FOR MYSELF, JUST GOING BY THE BOOK OF BURIALS I HAVE FOR THE CEMETERY. I KNOW THE BOOK DOESN'T LIST HER AS BRANIGIN, BUT GARSHWILER. IT COULD BE WRONG. ANYWAY I WILL GO GET THE PHOTO SOON, WEATHER PERMITTING.

|Mark McCrady||ELLEN BRANIGIN|
STEVE, IT WAS MY MISTAKE MISSPELLING HER NAME. THERE IS NO ELLEN BRANIGIN BURIED AT GREENLAWN. HOWEVER, USING THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDED, I DID FIND AN ELLEN GARSHWILER, AND HER STONE HAS THE "SISTER" INSCRIPTION REPORTED BY THE PERSON WHO PUT UP HER MEMORIAL.THE BOOK I USE SHOWS THERE IS NO DATES ON THE STONE. SHE IS BURIED NEXT TO THE SISTER YOU NAMED. IF YOU WANT A PHOTO, LET ME KNOW. THANKS, MARK

|Mark McCrady||ELLEN BRANIGAN|
STEVE, I CAN FIND NO RECORD OF ELLEN IN GREENLAWN CEMETERY. THERE ARE A LOT OF BRANIGANS, BUT NO ELLEN. COULD SHE HAVE GONE BY ANOTHER NAME? THANKS, MARK

Thanks for the photos. I finally got the nerve to call and ask for the plot locations and was refered to Dallas. This is what I wanted.

|Nancy (Hitchcock) Clewell||Woodworths at Agricola, KS|
I walked and photographed the Pleasant View Cemetery in Agricola, KS this week. I have many relations here, and after going back a second time and not getting all of the headstones I 'thought' I needed, I decided to just photograph the whole darn thing! =)
Saw that you have sponsored memorials for the Woodworths and wanted to let you know there were a few more located here that did not have memorials already created. We also cleaned the stones, so have a few clearer pics we posted to some of the memorials already created.
I am planning to transfer the Woodworth memorials into your care. Please let me know if you see any others that belong to your family and I would be happy to transfer them into your care, if they are not related to me also! =)
Feel free to copy and use the photos on any of the memorials that we added.
Happy hunting! Nancy
