RE: Fosters in Nashville
Hello. Thank you for your interest in my postings.
As you may have noted, Jane Foster's memorial was originally posted by a member who is now inactive. Because he had posted a number of my ancestors, I petitioned Find A Grave to have them transferred to me. They allowed a certain number and so I added as many as I could so someone would be answerable for these memorials. Your Jane Foster was one of those I acquired in this way. I don't know if technically the photos belong to me, but since the member is inactive, we can suppose that he would not object. Everything I personally post to Find A Grave, I believe makes it public property.
I say all this to say, enjoy these photos in your family tree!

RE: C S Bemis
Thank you for your efforts. There are five Bemis family members buried in Milo Cemetery: C. S.[Clark], Charles D., Daniel, Katheryn P., and Nicholas Lee. If you have the time, all would be of interest to me.

Clark's stone should be a government issued one. I have a listing that his marker was supplied. Mr. Bemis was a Civil War Vet. I am particularly interested in the unit number inscription. He was a member of Company F, 11th Minnesota Infantry.

Clark Bemis' unfortunate death came at the hands of another inmate as a Rochester, Minnesota, newspaper of 16 January 1894 described:

A Patient Attacked and Killed by Another Who Became Violently Insane.
A paralytic patient at the State Hospital was injured by another patient last Saturday in such a manner that he died the following day. The old man who was killed, Clark Bemis, had been in this and the St. Peter hospital for years. The other patient was Hans Michaelson, who was committed from Minneapolis, and though he was habitually cross and surly he had exhibited no signs of violence recently.............The remains were taken this morning by relatives from Princeton, Minn.

RE: Arthur Bassett
Sure you can use the pic for your tree. I'm still getting through the Bassett pics, but it looks like Arthur was on the side of Edwin and Hattie's marker. I'll let you know for certain shortly.

Cornelius Rynearson
Hi Jaime,

I walked the entire cemetery and never found a headstone for Cornelius. There were some older stones that I couldn't read due to the weather wearing them away. His may have been one of them. I did however find 4 other Rynearsons. Christ & Ella, Otto & George, Stephen & Winifred, and Martha. Are you interested in those? I went ahead and took pictures of them if you are.

RE: Sarah Peake
If you go to Sandyvale on here (find-a-grave), my friend Brian Ensley took pictures of the remaining gravestones for this cemetery. It has thousands of burials and only less than 100 stones left.

No problem helping. Anything I can do for others looking for their family.

Perez Graves in Hawi
Hi Jamie I live in Hawi HI and can see the Sacred Heart church from my house (about 2 miles away)-- it will be a cinch to get the pix you want. I have claimed the request and will get back to you in few days with photos of the graves and the church and the environ.

If it's important I could talk to church people if you need any records or such.

I cannot believe a request has been made into my front yard!! (well, almost)

Please send me your email address so I can send the hi-res images to you; stuff via findagrave has to be downsized to 350kb, so I will upload only one image there to filfill the claim, and you can decide what to do with all the others.

More later
