Thank you for the ton of info. Sweet of you to include everything you have for me. Well, certainly looks like this is my William, and everything matches except that application date for the pension. I can only assume that it must be either a widow app or minor app and was entered on the wrong line. Perhaps I can find Mary Etta's book in a library and find more information. Thanks again!

I thought I had found the tombstone of William Neal, husband of Millie Fuqua, in Pine Grove Cemetery. Being a member of Fold3, I was looking for more information. What did I find? The William Neal who was a 1st Lt., Co. A, 6th KY Cav, as listed on the tombstone in Pine Grove, applied for his pension 10 Feb 1904 and Millie was a widow in 1900. The dates on the tombstone would appear to be correct, and the place of burial would make sense. So do I assume the dates are correct, and this is his burial, and that only the military information is incorrect? I'm Soooo confused!! What do you think after running into your situation?

Hello, I am a descendant of John L Smith. I was wondering what your source was for the family photo? How were the people in the photo identified? Thank you in advance.

My grandfather was Porter Muncey Crabtree, lived in Fentress County I think on Little Crab. He was married to Sentitha Scroggins. I have been trying to find information on his family history with no luck. Is he possibly related to Samuel Crabtree?
Thanks for any information

Joyce, thank you so much for fulfilling the photo requests for my great-great-grandparents, plus adding the photos of their marriage bond as well! Are they actually buried in Parmley's Grove as stated? I have had conflicting reports and would like to find out, as their son, Jefferson Parmley, my great-grandfather, is supposedly buried there as well. It seems the ground-cover in both his and their photos are the same, but totally different than other photos from that cemetery. Yet another mystery!

The additions have been made to the memorials for Geroge W. & Jane Sandusky. Their are several grave military grave stones in this cemetery as all they show is the name and the military unit they were serving. It is sad that they don't give more info. These people are almost lost. You are welcome.

Thank you for the info for George Washington Sandusky. The info has been added to the memorial. Do you know his birth and death dates? I noticed the photo you entered and it looks like they show his death date as Aug 18, 1892. What do you think? The cemetery is in very bad shape as it looks like it has never been mowed. There are several military stones. Have a great day.

I just reread your message and realized that I did not answer your question about their baby. I don't know whether it is buried close by or not. My great grandparents are buried there and I go every year to decorate their graves over the Memorial Day weekend. I looked before I went to see if there were any requests for pictures. I believe that there were 13 (your request being two of them). I found all of them but 2 I think. If you will post the baby as a picture request, if someone else doesn't find it before next year, I'll try to find it. I'll need alittle more info, though. By the way, the Crabtrees are buried a short distance from my great grandmother (Eva Hardie) and several of her children. Small world, huh.

I'll try to, but not sure that I can. Have you right clicked on the picture and sent it to my documents? I believe that's the way I've done it before. If that works, you should be able to print it from there. Let me know and I'll try if that doesn't work.

The cemetery is just behind my house - less than 5 minute walk - so, naturally, I'm drawn to volunteer where I can. No relatives here - husband from KS and I'm from middle GA. But I do enjoy helping folks find their relatives here.

My name is Diana South and I am looking up information on my family. My father is Charlie Neal, he is the son of Willie F. Neal & Lucy Bertram Neal. I have traced back a couple of generations of the Neal's but I am stopped in a certain point. I was also told that the Neal's were connected to Chief Doublehead. I would appreciate any information that you may have.
You may email at dsouth@twlakes with information that you may have. I thank you very much for any help that you may be able to give me.
