David/James Clark
Is it possible these were two different men? The Scots had a nightmare habit of using the same sets of names over and over again within the family, so it would not be unusual to have a David with sons James and David, and his brother to be named James and also have sons named James and David, all within the same small community! And as this was a coastal town, there were many sea captains. Next time I am in the cemetery, I'll have a look to see who else is there. I went looking to photograph a specific grave for someone and just snapped a few extra photos as I went, but I do recall there were a lot of Clarks buried there.

William Houchin - Jolly Cemetery
I want to thank you so much for verifying that William and Lavisa are buried at Jolly.....Had another distant relative tell me that they were at the Atlanta Cemetery......Now if you have pictures of the other graves that you found (pieces or whatever) of other family members of William and Lavisa, I would greatly appreciate a copy of whatever you have no matter how small.
William and Lavisa are my 4th great grandparents and I have next to nothing on them......So again WHATEVER you have like as well.......and please let me know the cost of what you spend.

Margaret Woods Knowles - Jolly Cemetery
The photo was taken Oct 15, 2014 at 5:08 pm. It was an exciting find. I have more photos, including closeups that I can send if you're interested.

My sister and I probed for stones and uncovered three in addition to Margaret's. We had only probed about 20% of the cemetery before we found her. I'll probably be in the Midwest again in 2016 and will consider probing the rest of the cemetery then.

Almon Family
Hello,
Noticed that your a 4th grand daughter of a Almon Family,
My Great grandmother was Emma Almon Stroup,She was born 1850 in OHio ( I think) and passed in Indiana, and buried in Ashboro cemetery in Indiana, She married Michael Stroup.
She had a sister name Lydia Almon who also married a Stroup (Henry Wesely Stroup).
I have hit a brick wall in my family tree with the Almon family , I was hoping you would have some information on them, All the information I have is her name and her sister's name, I have no idea what her parents names were, or siblings , at a stand still, And would so so love to know more about our Almon family, this is the only part of my family tree I know nothing about, I hope that you can help me or know some one who could, Thank you very much, Looking forward to hearing from you,
Robbi Horath - Stone

I heard from your dad at least once a month. They would call and see how I was doing. He was always very kind to me. I didn't know your mom had passed. She was really good to me also
