This is my grandmother's sister. I'm in the process of locating her children and would like add to this memorial when I can get photos and a bio. Would you be so kind as to transfer this to me? My # is 48650193. Thank you!

I appreciate the Wamhoff photo for Alvin and Winifred Wamhoff but it is difficult to see the dates on the headstone. I was hoping to be able to use the photo with my family history but it is useless to me if the dates cannot be read.

Thank you for the photo of Fred. I am not related to him, but when I was photographing the Gressler cemetery, I found his fathers headstone. There wasn't a memorial for him so I made one.
Being a curious person I decided to research him and lo and behold I found his family tree. I also found that his wife married a man by the name of Kramer who ironically was buried next to the father. Until you requested the edit for Fred, I had no idea where the children or the wife was buried. But with your edit I am again curious.
Do you know if any of Freds' siblings are buried at Bird City or in that area. I would love to have pictures.
I live about 100 miles from Bird City and McDonald and travel thru there frequently, So if you have any info I would sure love to have it.
Again thanks for the photo

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very, very long time.
Per your requests I have transferred Fred Talbott, Hazel Talbott, Joseph Crowfoot and Margaret Crowfoot. I had some information for Hazel and Joseph which I had added to their memorials.

Transfer done. Thanks for taking care of her memorial. I'm also hunkering down in anticipation of the snow. Let's hope the weather folks are wrong and we only get a few inches. Stay warm and safe. Debbie J.

You are welcome! I think I found an obituary for him, and sent it to the manager, who will most likely add it in a day or so.

Hello. I just had a telephone call and forgot your first name..
The connection that I have with the Harris line is this...Leta Harris married Jewell Gardner...he was brother of my mother. Her parents were Charlie and Bertha Overmiller Harris...according to obit.
This is what I would suggest about the Harris people. Please contact my cousin, Wayne Gardner, son of Jewell and Leta... His e-mail is WayEM3705@aol.com... He is very interested in family history...he may have a big Harris history... many in that family also have an Overmiller history as well.

|Ruth Kidwell||Grave sites for Hagers|
I am not able to get down to McCook that often and a friend of mine said his folks were buried in the Memorial Park and I am not finding them on the web site. Their names are Cecil Hager and Opel Hager. I don't know if they were buried side by side or not. They were divorced and do don't know what the kids did. Would appreciate any help you could give.

|deetsdon||RE: Ned Wolbach|
Hello back Marilyn ... Thanks for taking Ned's headstone picture for me. Also I did not add his dad's bio to Find A Grave , this was done by someone named Jeri Herbert on 11-1-2012. The website shows she posted info from the St. Francis Herald. So I don't understand why the headstone shows different info than the Herald write up?? Maybe we could research further to correct which ever is wrong.
Also Ned and his mother, Doris were my family members by marriage. Do you have a headstone picture for Doris? ...(I made a Find A Grave site number for her IF she is deceased #133948008). Your message to me says they are all buried together in Sec 8 - Lot 27 at St. Francis cemetery.
I took the liberty to add her name so that I could add her information properly with right information and photos that I have. If you don't have a photo of the headstone ... I will 'DELETE' the Find A Grave website. Please let me KNOW ASAP. 'THANK YOU' so much for your efforts. I have long since lost contact with anyone who knows of the status. D

Hi Marilyn! Im wondering if you might be able to help me. I found in my Great Grandmothers Obituary that she was preceeded in death by an infant daughter, I have no name for the infant or the year of birth or death, I believe it to be after 1920 and i do know at that time my Great Grandparents lived somewhere in Cheyenne County Kansas, There names were Ezra Bernard Losey (buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell, Park County Wyo.) & Anna Eliza Bradley Losey buried in Germantown Cemetery, Kinsington, Smith County, Kansas.
If in your travels thru Cheyenne County Kansas Cemeteries you come across a Losey Infant girl, could you please let me know?
Thank you so very much!!

|BrideyLight||Robert G. Olson's photograph|
Dear, dear Marilyn! Thank you so much for your kindness to have gone out in a snowstorm to take the photograph for Vietnam soldier Robert G. Olson! You have truly gone above and beyond and I know his family will appreciate your work. The photograph is beautiful! Any time you are out at Fort Logan National Cemetery again, please do take the surrounding area lot shot; it, too will be much appreciated. Maybe after the snow melts! The information I have lists this soldier as having been from Englewood, CA. For some reason though, he is listed on the Humboldt County, CA list of Vietnam veterans who were KIA or MIA. To add to the complication, his final resting place is in Colorado. Go figure! I will be emailing a man I have previously made contact with to see if he will have any person photographs of Robert. Check back at Robert's memorial page in the weeks to come to perhaps see photographs of Robert or his family. Kind regards, Bridey Light, Humboldt County, CA. PS The Pacific is roaring like a lion today -- and we have sneaker waves breaking at our shores on the northcoast. ACK!

|Genealogist Addict||John Weaver Lindsten Sr|
I did a search for St Francis Cemetery Kansas and got a link to Cheyenne Co cemeteries. The first page showing A to E has a Title St Francis Kansas but when I clicked on F-L, I had a page titled Bird City Cemetery. On this page I found a John Lindsten Jr and a Weaver John Lindsten. This Weaver John Lindsten has birth and death dates that agree with what I have for John Weaver Lindsten Sr. I know that he was born John Weaver Lindsten but went by Weaver Lindsten. I still am confused as to whether Weaver is buried in St Francis or Bird City Cemetery. I believe it is St Francis but I'm not sure. I would like a picture of Weaver and his wife Mattie's stone if you can find them.
Thank you for your assistance.

|Genealogist Addict||John Lindsten, Jr|
I have John Lindsten Jr married to Velma E Peter Lindsten. The dates shown for John Lindsten, Sr are what I have for John Lindsten Jr.
I have John Weaver Sr being born 7 Jan 1893 in Jaqua Township, Cheyenne Co, KS and died on 19 Apr 1974 in St Francis. As my source for burial I have an online document first for Bird City Cemetery and then a second as St Francis Cemetery. These are different sources from Find A Grave. John Sr was married to Mattie Marie Price. She was born 5 Sep 1894 and died in Dec 1985. I don't have a burial site for Mattie but I have her death in St Francis.
Thank you for your assistance Marilyn.

Marilyn thank you for adding the photos today and yesterday. We appreciate it very much. You may want to know that you are adding them as portraits--person instead of grave, so they are at the top of the page--just for future reference. Hope you are enjoying this great weather as you walk about and do our requests for tombstones.
