Friends of Oak Hill Cemetery of Minneapolis
Albert Berry Information
Thank you for the additional information re: Albert and father Aaron Berry. Since I do not manage the F.A.G. memorials for these two I am not able to make the additions...but for my own personal files I greatly appreciated what you have sent and now the ability to update and expand. Thanks Patty.

Margaret Marcey
Just FYI, I have taken photos of all the markers in that cemetery, and do not believe there is one for Margaret Marcey. (I also have a printout of all the markers that somebody else made.) There are six Marcey markers there: Calvin Marcey, Maggie Beach Marcie, Fannie Virginia Marcey, William Earl Marcey, George Roshia Marcey, and Sarah Reid Marcey. So I think that Margaret's is probably an unmarked burial. Some of the older stones are very hard to read, but I think 1929 would still be a readable one. Regards.

William Benthall
Thank you for your interest and suggestion. The decedent's title, as your correctly point out, does not accurately reflect his military ranking. It does however accurately reflect his occupation.

I believe you are correct. I have deleted my entry for him and added him to my virtual cemetery for soldiers who served in the 2nd Battlion, 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division.

Mary V. [Johnson] Edgar
Harriett Tarman
Hi, Patty ~ the only record I can find of Harriett is that in 1910 she was a servant for Lucy Thorpe [82], Eliza Thorpe [79], and Harriett Thorpe [72], maiden sisters of Richard Henry Thorpe.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Hi Patty,

In the spirit of your bio, transfer complete.
"History not shared, is History lost" I like that!

I'm sure you have more relatives in Cedar. Right now, I would say, the cemetery is half-way complete. And it will get done. NE Old section has slowed down the process. Many grave markers have initials for first names. Yet, with the last name and a DOD things are falling into place. I'm trying to get first names, maiden names, dates and so forth before I post the memorial. Tedious, but fun!

Thank you for located and photographing the stones and adding the son. I wasn't sure if he was there. I keep baby powder in my car to sprinkle on hard to read brings out the dates pretty good and washes away with the next rain.

Patty, just click on the photo you want, then click on the photo that comes up. That is the best of the copies on line. Right click and save to your computer. Otherwise I need your email address to send you a copy.

RE: Margaret Golden
I was just in Warrenton in November looking for ancetors. It is such a lovely little town. And very nice, friendly people there! Don't have any pictures of the Tharp's either. Wish I did. I haven't gotten any further back than Jesse and Lucinda at this point. Lots more research to do.

I added the information you suggested. I guess we are cousins then because she is my 4th Great Grandmother.
